We had an Ocean front Queen room. The room was small, the bed was terrible but the view was awesome. I took a plug in air freshner to help the smell. I suggest you do the same. Parking was very limited and the 20 minute unloading spots had cars in them they didn't move the entire time we were there.... more

I just got back from a 3 night 4 day stay at the Plim. this is my second year returning to the plim and I don't think I will ever go anywhere else. Everyone is so helpful at this hotel, we called three times to change our room and once to change the date of our stay, and not once... more

The Plim is definitely not for the faint at heart. It's true the old girl needs some TLC and a good scrubbing but there is an upside. Location, location, location! From our OC front room, we overlooked the sand sculptures, which were beautiful. The staff were all very nice, the bartenders friendly. The Caribbean Pool bar is great and the... more

We have just returned from four days at the Plim Plaza. The hotel is neglected, dirty, dark, dated, and we have never experienced such conditions before. The hallway to our room reaped of an odor like raw sewage, the room itself was small, the bathroom had mold, grime, and dirt. The sink basin backed up each time one washed their... more

what every 1 says we have stayed there 2 times in 4 years before trying myrtle beach s.c ( but now with gas and the long drive from phila,pa plus you have to stay at hotel on the trip to s.c both ways what costs even more) so we r going back to plim. funny we see in the statements... more

Only good for between Memorial and Labor Day. At that time the outside jacuzzi's and pool are open. They have an outdoor bar -restaurant right by the pool that plays live music midday to midnight. Like the Beatles, Neil Young, ... So the kids get to swin and I get to hear live music. I would not pick this place... more

The plim plaza has to be thee worst hotel i've ever stayed at! What you see on the internet is not what you're getting. First off when you go through the hallways there a nasty, funky, damp, moldy smell. When you walk into the room, it's extremely tiny. Almost makes you feel claustrophobic! The bathroom was a dump.It was not even... more

I read some of the reviews before my family and I left for OC and was really worried we were going to stay at a complete dive. I wasn't expecting a 5 star resort; the room was really cheap, on the boardwalk, and on 2nd street. The hotel is old and the hallways could use some tlc. Our room was... more

The lobby and the pool area are nice but that's it. The rooms are disgusting. There are stains on the walls, the air conditioner was falling apart and loud. The bath room...wow the bathroom.. the bathroom is moldy, the bath tub is stained and when you're standing in the shower you feel like you're on a boogie board. I'm not... more

I read many of the reviews on this site for the Plim and went ahead and spent the week there. It was a great week! I parked my car at check-in and didn't move it until we checked out, Everything I could have wanted was within walking distance. The pool was clean and yes the cool water was a shock,... more
