Stayed for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. Pluses: A/C worked. Room appeared clean. Lady at front desk was super sweet. Easy, straight 2 mile drive to beach. TV worked. Cons: Rusty shower head made water smell rusty. Worn and frayed carpeting. Afraid to use pool. High cost per night related to room quality. No phone. Microwave plugged in, but... More

I was pleasantly surprised by this Motel, I thought it would be a fleabag kind of a place but it is actually very nice, I went for a couple of days of relaxation and enjoyed my stay. Having said that; the room was tiny and very overpriced, but then again every thing in Ocean City is overpriced. There were cottages... More

There was a strong odor of mold as soon as we walked in the room. The place is very old and not upgraded at all. Refrigerator didn't work, notified office, they said they would make a note of it. Sink in bathroom was cracked and water fixtures were dirty looking

The water stinks, bugs, some kind of flying ants, trash in dresser drawers used tissues, food wrappers u der the bed, along with an inch of dust. Beer bottle caps behind dresser. Sheets would pop offcorners ofbed, to leave you sleeping on plastic, under an itching bedspread thing? Refrigerator freezes everything on low. I just can't say enough. We left... More

The family-owned aspect is great. We loved the grounds. They had a clean pool, a volleyball court and a small area for shooting basketball hoops -- which all are great, especially if you have a family and some kids need to get rid of energy even after returning after a long day at the beach. The room itself is no... More

We stayed at Long Acres during a kayaking weekend in Assateague. This place has been family owned for more than 50 years. Cottages have roomy screened porches that look out over a well-maintained lawn. The cottages come with linens and are well-stocked with cooking gear. Our comfort was well-assured, and shortly after arrival, the owner's son stopped by to chat... More

This is not a "plush" hotel, but it is a nice, clean, pleasant family owned/operated establishment. Located approx. 2 miles West of Ocean City on Old Bridge Road, in "West" OC. We stayed in a regular hotel room on the 2nd floor, July 2011. The room was very clean, the AC was operational. The bed was very firm and not... More
