We made reservations at this hotel, then we read the horrible reviews of it so we cancelled our reservations by phone. They refunded our credit card. I have stayed at the Howard Johnson's, boardwalk at 12th Street, several times. It's my favorite hotel in Ocean City. Prime location, parking garage, restaurant/bar, indoor and outdoor pools, balconies, bike rentals, nice lobby, microwave/refrig/coffee maker...what more can you ask for in a beach hotel room? An older hotel that has been remodeled. Older is ok, but there is no excuse for dirty.
