We are a local disc jockey service and have had the pleasure many times, to provide entertainment for brides and grooms at The Castle. The Castle's atmosphere takes you back to a Classical Period. From the beautiful pictures on the wall, to the antique wardrobe, you just feel like royalty when you enter. There is such a peaceful feeling as... more

We had the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful and relaxing weekend at the Castle. We booked around one of their "murder mystery" nights. It was the first time either of us experienced a "murder" in front of our eyes. The actors made the evening enjoyable and we had some great audience interaction. After the mystery was solved we spent hours... more

I’ve stayed at the castle several times in the last few years and enjoyed the accommodations of each of the rooms. Every room has its own uniqueness and beauty. My most recent stay was in June 2008. On this trip I took the opportunity to enjoy some quiet time to read and relax in the gardens and enjoy the beautiful... more

We have visited The Castle numerous times. It was the place we took our first vacation together years ago, and we go back to visit at least once each year. The hospitality, serenity, atmosphere, and delicious breakfasts are very important to us. If we want to find nearby attractions or entertainment, all we've ever had to do was ask the... more

We love The Castle and try to go at least once a year. Our special favorite is the Ramsey Room, but we’ve tried each one and they’re all beautiful. The building itself has quite an interesting history and our host Tony is always willing to share stories about its past. The breakfasts are fabulous and beautifully presented. And tea with... more

Its sad when nice hosts are so gracious and proud of a place with major problems. We recently experienced an awful stay at the Castle. A fundamental requirement of a good B&B is a restful night's sleep. Could not sleep because of excessive noise from the living room stereo and several clocks which chimed all night. Inexusable!!! Also, the physical... more

I cant say enough about this great little place in the mountains! We got married in October and the owners went above and beyond to make the day as perfect as possible. All our friends just loved the food and the breakfast was easily the best we have had at any bed and breakfast. We also loved the little snacks... more

The Castle Bed and Breakfast is nice, but I think it's a bit overpriced. They also didn't provide a lot of information about where to go for hiking/other activities in the area. It's close to Cumberland, which is nice, and really close to the start of the Allegheny bike trail. The grounds of the castle are by no means big,... more

I stayed at the Castle while attending a wedding there some time ago. The gardens and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. It is a peaceful setting. The breakfast was delicious. The room was comfortable and inviting, and the towels and linens were luxurious. I would definitely return. more
