My Children and I stayed at the Aloft and were pleased with the early check in and appearance of the hotel. It was very nice, had no issues with bathroom doors such as others said, but I must agree that the Beds were very uncomfortable!! One thing I did like was that instead of a wooden headboard behind you, their... More

I was not told about the $50.00 per day incidential fee during my Aloft booking. The extra $100.00 taken out limited my spending for the entire weekend. Room 110's bathroom door was totally missing. The back panel of the remote control was also missing. I complained, was relocated to room 209. Room 209's left pull down shade was totally detached.... More

I travel a lot for business and recently decided to switch over from Marriott rewads to Starwood hotel rewards. This was my first stay at a Starwood property and I enjoyed the hotel but had a few problems with it. First the hotel is definitely not your average hotel and I enjoyed the decor throughout the entire hotel as well... More

aLoft may be a hit with the under 30 group, but I can't imagine anyone over 50 wanting to stay here. The lobby looks like someone's basement. It has an area with a bar and pool table that looks exactly like someone's basement home bar from the 1960s. The desk staff are very young, and don't seem to have much... More

We were there for business trip, had meeting in the morning. We called front desk to set up a wake up call in the morning. The next morning, there was no wake up call at all, we were late to the business meeting. This is the wrost service a hotel can offer to their customers.

This was my first stay at an Aloft I usually stay at other midmarket properties. This was a nice upgrade - trendy, hip, happening kind of place. I'd prefer to have a breakfast buffet, but not a huge issue (they have some breakfast items in the "re:fuel" grab & go food/beverage area.

I arrived and was greeted with the aloha from the staff (this always makes me smile when I walk into any Aloft hotel). Check in was fairly easy and the lobby was packed with guest that were using the pool table and bar (this may be maybe a turn to someone to looking for peace and quiet but not I,... More

Overall we enjoyed the hotel - we would prefer to see a real bathroom door with a lock for privacy. Also too many lights went on with one switch - should have dimmer lighting for the bathroom for overnight needs so as not to disturb the rest of the family (next time we woudl pack a nightlight for this purpose).... What a pleasant surprise to find so much luxury for the price in today's times. We make several trips a year to Baltimore for my husband's health issues. This was the first time that we truly had a pleasant and relaxing stay. The rooms are arranged with comfort in mind. Our contact with the staff proved to be very helpful.... More

I was a little nervous about my stay at BWI Aloft after having read some of the reviews. It seemed like I might be disappointed, but I was drawn to the unique style and booked anyway. I can barely think of a thing that I haven't enjoyed about my stay. The bathroom has a large sliding door with a huge... More
