My wife and I are a young couple in our thirty’s and we have 3 young children. We wanted to get away for some peace and quiet and thought that this place would do the trick again. Boy was I wrong! This was the second time around for my wife and I and I must say it WILL be the... more

Charming inn and location but question the cleanliness. Staff was friendly and accomodating. We, too, stayed in the Americana Suite. Bedroom and bath were OK, but sitting area was unattractive. Old couch had an odor as did bedroom and bedding. Smelled like body odor when beds, bedding, couches, etc are not cleaned. There were two plug-in air fresheners, but it... more

The Inkeepers and owner were very nice and helpful. They made restaurant reservations for us which were excellent. On our last morning they let us eat earlier than the scheduled time so we could leave early onto our next destination. It was so nice of them to do that. The property is peaceful and serene. more

My husband and I traveled last minute to the B&B and were placed in the Americana Suite. We were told we would be charged for a regular room price rather than the suite which was very kind. The Suite is not on the website but we took a chance b/c the property got great reviews on trip advisor and the... more

This was our third time to this wonderful inn, but our first time writing a review. We cannot say enough about this place! It just keeps getting better and better. We arrived Friday evening and were greeted by Dave, the super friendly and cool innkeeper. Breakfast both mornings was amazing. Ice cream for breakfast--Yay!!!! Three courses of amazing food, all... more

We booked at the AOF for 4 days, which included a celebration of our 37th Wedding Anniversary. We stayed in the Garden View Room (main floor) and were enchanted with the wildlife that visit the farm. Deer which come to graze and birds at the feeders. The early mornings and late evenings were made all the more enchanting with the... more

I was just reminded that I needed to write a review for Antietam Overlook Farm in reference to wonderful stay my husband and I had. The Birdwatch room that my husband I stayed in was extremely comfortable and clean. There was not only a million dollar view but a two million dollar view of the mountains. Mark and Ryan and... more

I surprised my husband with a one-night stopover at Antietam Overlook Farm between our stays in Washington, DC and Gettysburg, PA. By the time the manager, Dave, finished showing us around our room (I had booked "the Overlook"), my husband was wishing we could stay for more than one night. And that was before we had dug into Dave's incredible... more

This inn has lovely views of the countryside, which you can enjoy from your room's very own screened porch. Make sure you ask for a room with a good view. The innkeepers are very friendly, and the rooms are large and clean. The breakfasts were very good, but we thought the third course of ice cream was a bit odd... more

We had a wonderful time at the AOF. As mentioned in other reviews, the breakfasts were great, although we were never able to eat all three courses. The complimentary beverages were a nice touch. Best of all, the staff encouraged people to get together and the interplay between staff and guests made the stay quite nice. The scenic vistas are... more
