My husband, teenage son and I stayed here for one night, two days after Christmas. We wanted to do a walking tour of the Marlyand campus and got stuck in terrible traffic on the way. So, we decided to spend the night and do the tour the next morning. This seemed to be the closest hotel, so we simply walked... More

We attended a University of Maryland football game and the hotel's proximity to Byrd Stadium was the primary reason we chose this hotel. It's a quick (10-15 minute) walk to the stadium. About the hotel itself, it consists of 2 buildings - a main one with the majority of rooms plus a separate one with conference rooms and more hotel... More

Perfect for visiting U of Maryland. My daughter and I enjoyed our 2 night stay. Very nice room (we were in new wing), great beds, friendly desk staff. Breakfast restaurant wasn't great, but second morning we went to Starbucks instead (in building across). Also, pub restaurant was good for dinner. I'd definitely recommend - in fact we'll be staying there... More

We stayed here from Aug. 9 to Aug 12 and found the hotel to be very nice. Make sure that you request the new building as we have friends that stayed in the old building and they had to move. The old building is terrible. The room that I had in the new building was very clean, and though it... More

One year later and we stayed at this hotel again. We were there for three nights and I can say I would stay there again. The room we had was smaller than the year before but it was very comfortable and suited our needs. The staff was very nice and willing to help. The hotel was clean and bright.

Extremely clean hotel and nice size rooms. Looks and is new and modern. Nice and safer to stay at than others in the area. Beds were AWESOME & ultra comfortable! Big, modern bathroom. Even had Bath & Bodyworks toiletries (nice touch). Staff efficient and friendly. Clean, well-lit, adjacent, parking garage. Stayed 2 nights for conference at Comcast Center which was... More

This is a nice, modern hotel, very conveniently located to the University of Maryland. I stayed in the new wing in a standard room, which was sizeable and in good shape. I particularly liked the beds, which were plush and very comfortable. The room looked out to a fairly busy street but the windows provided excellent sound insulation. There's free... More

A very convenient hotel for visiting UMd. Right at edge of campus. We were in the new building, in a somewhat small but well furnished room with comfortable beds. Room service order arrived within half an hour, delivered by an extremely nice waiter, food well presented but just ok. On site gym was not available (construction?) but pass was furnished... More

I stayed 2 nights with my son, who was on a visit to U of Maryland. I am a regular Marriott guest and was pretty disappointed with the lack of typical amenities of a full service hotel. I must point out that the staff of this hotel was excellent, although they didn't seem to know where nearby attractions were. (we... More

I stayed here for one night during a college visit to Catholic U in NE Washington. Hotel was well-situated, about 15 min. drive from NE Wash. It was easy to find. I was in the older building. Check-in and parking for $6 a night - handled efficiently. The room was rather crowded with furniture. I assume b/c I used Priceline... More
