It is a clean hotel with helpful, courteous staff. The rooms are above average. The design is a very spread out 3-stories with meandering hallways that go on forever. I once got lost for 20 minutes in the maze. They have wireless Internet, but although advertised as high speed it seemed slow to me and would cut off intermittently. Allow... more

We stayed at the Marriott Hunt Valley for 4 nights in May, 2008. Overall, the hotel is OK but it's showing its age. I have stayed in other Marriott properties before and this one seemed like it was in need of a complete rebuild, not just new carpet and drapes. The hotel was clean, and we did get a fair... more

Different Marriott..agree with the other reviews - the hallways are goofy.. It is only 3 stories. The price was fair for the Baltimore-area. The staff was very helpful - would stay there again! Shopping and dining just across the street. more

It's not a "normal" Marriott. I've stayed in Spring Hill Suites that are actually nicer. The property is a little older, and they are trying to update it. It does get a little better each year, but the rooms are still kind of strange, with fake wood closet doors and loud heating/AC units. The last room I got was also... more

Former reviews of this hotel property are mixed, and I can understand why. I have stayed here on a regular basis for the past few years, and agree that there have been some ups and downs. The positive for me is that everytime I come, there are more positives and fewer negatives - this last vist was almost flaw free.... more

If your business is sleeping, wouldn't you invest in beds that induce a good night's sleep? I appreciated the fact that the room was clean. Yet I am always amazed that hotels use substandard beds and bedding when truly that is the most important feature to provide comfort to their guests. If you cannot sleep on a hard bed, or... more

Headed out to the area for a business meeting and this hotel was the closest and most convenient. We were checked in quickly and the rooms were extremely nice. The facility is very clean and the front desk personnel were outstanding. They seemed to go one step beyond what was expected or even anticpated. The excersize room was well equipped,... more

My wife and I stayed here for a convention in February. The staff was very pleasant, including some that were positively outstanding. It is a shame that they decided to put in new carpeting that does not match well with the architecture, but honestly a carpet is a carpet. The bar area is very nice, but the restaurant leaves a... more

We have attended an annual convention at the Hunt Valley Inn for the past three years (Fri-Sun) and are finally throwing in the towel with this hotel. The front desk is apathetic and unable to accommodate even the most simple requests. They made billing mistakes and mistakes with our reservation, suggesting that we were mistaken in each instance before recognizing... more

The Marriott Baltimore Hunt Valley is a nice, full-service hotel in a convenient location. I've stayed here many nights for business, and found there to be many positives, usually offset by some sort of limitation on the service. Prime examples: - Friendly staff, but messed up my hotel bill on 5 different occasions in a span of 10 weeks (does... more
