Five of us (2 kids) just checked out of here and we had a great time. We had the double room with 2 double/queen beds, full fridge, stovetop, microwave and all. the hotel was exactly what we needed with free Wi-Fi, free breakfast and laundry facilities. The pool was a little small but the kids aren't Olympic swimmers anyway so... More

Check in was fine, but upon arriving learned that the price for the stay including incidentals is charged at check in and not charged when you book online like almost all hotels do. So we were not expecting that but was not a huge deal to us but might be for other people. We stayed in the suite which for... More

Well, I spent a week at the Aloft next door earlier this month and when I had to come back to the area, I figured I'd try the Element. It's OK. This is kind of like those combined KFC / Taco Bell places. I was checked in by a guy wearing a Polo shirt from Aloft. First impressions - it... More

Upon check-in, the staffer to wait on us was distant and unfriendly.....we reserved a King room and the online photos and description was that of a room with a sofa, full kitchen, etc...upon entry to our room it was JUST a single person armed chair and a mini-fridge & microwave. This property adjoins with Aloft which houses the WXYZ lounge... More

My boyfriend and I had a one-night stay when we attended a wedding in the area. The lobby was lacking air conditioning so I was concerned that our room would be hot too. While checking in, another guest approached the desk to say that the room they had just assigned was not clean. They mentioned that it looked like the... More

A young lady named Daneisha checked us in to our room. She was so courteous and insightful. She made us feel at home and told us of all the amenities offered by The Element. She checked to make sure we were comfortable with our room. With staff like Daneisha and rooms as amazing as these, I think I will always... More

Great rooms! Separate bedroom and living area! Plus you get a kitchen! It was definitely like an apartment for me instead of a hotel! The gym is amazing and wish all of the hotels that I stay at have a gym like this one! The staff was great at checkin and check out, always accommodating to the crew.

The standard amenities were fine -- kitchenette, fridge, continental breakfast (not great, but it's nice to have something), shuttle from the hotel, etc. The wifi was free, but it was very flaky. The staff were all very friendly.

This was my first visit to an Element Hotel. The Arundel Mills District near Baltimore City is a thriving area with a huge mall, a busy casino, plenty of restaurants, hotels and new apartments, homes, strip shopping & the traffic that goes along with that. The hotel is perfectly located; the modern high-tech feel is lovely (in the lobby). The... More
