Family that owns the place was very sweet and accommodating. I've come to this place for many years, and the current owner has begun to make improvements. Very comfy bed, clean room and new carpet. Breakfast is simple, but you also have coffee, microwave, and nice fridge in the room. Don't know what other rooms were like, but we stayed... More

A fairly quiet property with low priced rooms. We had a Queen bed and there was lots of room for the bed, two chairs, a desk and desk chair. Might be a bit tight with two beds in the room. Refrigerator worked well; didn't use the microwave. One SMALL shampoo, no conditioner. The room is a good value if all... More

If it weren't for the dishonest manager / owner, the hotel itself deserves about 2 stars. As others have mentioned, you don't stay in the nice historic house on the picture, but rather in the regular motel rooms in the back of the parking lot. The interior looks like it has not been renovated since the Vietnam War... worn out,... More

We were encouraged when we saw the place. The office is in a (could be) beautiful old home and the rooms are old style "Mom and Pop" rooms beside the house. We thought someone might have really done good things with it. Not so. When we went into the office, it was dirty. The lady was somewhat annoyed that we... More

Room was clean, all equipment worked, nice location. Yes, old place, but good price for my needs. The breakfast was simple (no eggs). If you're coming out of the town, up the hill, BE SURE to stop at the barely visible stop sign, as a friendly Md. State Trooper is just waiting. They should paint a big sign on the... More

Dirtiest place I have stayed in my entire life. Cobwebs and dust on everything. The room smells like mildew. The lady at the desk was rude. There's stuff under the beds (clothes , a tennis ball etc) literally disgusted. Don't do it

Stayed in room 107. The sink in the bathroom didn't drain and had to use the bathtub to brush our teeth. The room was small and appeared stuffy. The bathtub had a mat in it which wasn't very sanitary. That being said, the room was very inexpensive and we all had a very good night's sleep. My son, bother and... More

Cute old-timey string of rooms with cars pulled up conveniently to the door. Knotty pine panelling in the small rooms with vintage bathroom tiles. Overall very pleasant although over priced. Very convenient to town...but a bit far to walk. Breakfast scanty. Single cup coffee makers in room. Wifi simply does not work at all. Don't miss the Park-and-dine restaurant in... More

Quite old property in the "L" pattern of single level rooms with a house in front as the office. A bit over priced for the value in my opinion. Room was very small. Wifi almost non-existent. I had a few water bugs to chase down as well. Linens had long ago served their purpose. Won't be staying there again.

Room was moldy with no heat and snow was plowed toward sidewalk and shoveled to allow a path to the room...we had to step on and over a foot of snow! Black mold around the tub and stained sheets. We immediately called the office and the clerk stated she could not give a refund without calling the manager. I asked... More
