This place was one of the worst places I have stayed at. As soon as I entered the room a couple of roaches ran behind the picture frame. When I called the manager, he refused to give a refund. I eneded up checking out and stayed at the place next door. more
Walked in at midnight, or tried to. Door was chained and they opened the door for me. Not a problem, I guess, as there could be some dangerous people outside at night wanting to break into hotels. As soon as I walked into room I wanted to leave. The room smelled of urine. I was afraid to use the bathroom for a shower as everything looked grubby . In the morning I found a cockroach near the coffee maker. We checked out at 6am. We had three children with us 8,4 and 6 month old . I... more
This place has obviously done A LOT of updating. Very clean rooms and all new carpeting and bathrooms. It is a small town with not much else to choose from. We were very pleased and a great price too! more
don't worry about the bugs here - the mold has probably killed all of them by now - pretty poor excuse for a chain motel - even a super 8 - unfortunately there's not much else to stay in this town, so you're pretty much stuck (unless you want to brave the un-rated value inn) - for c&o canal bikers... more
