We went last weekend for a getaway. The Inn is very nice, very well decorated, they've obviously spent a lot of time restoring it and finding furniture/fixtures for it. We stayed in the "Gold suite" which is a large room, bed is a small queen or maybe large double. There's a separate sitting area and lots of windows. The bathroom isn't big, but adequate and has a shower/tub with whirpool jets. The room is street front, but not noisy. There is a living room area downstairs where they have wine, books, games, etc. The hosts are very nice and gave good suggestions for dinner (we ate at Schmarkerl Stube - very good) and for where to go in Shepherdstown and Harpers Ferry. They also have a hair salon/spa in the front of the Inn. I would definitely stay here again. more
