Just spent 3 nights at this hotel and I was worried that it was too far out from DC since that is where we would be traveling to each day. Not to worry, it is perfect, especially for families. Safe clean suburb but only a few miles drive from the Metro station. We took the Metro into DC each morning... more

My family stayed at the Springhill to attend a Birthday and Gratuation Party. My brother and family live in Gaithersburg. It is really safe and nice. The hotel is an easy off of 270. It is located on Washington Blvd that has alot to do: shops, resturants, movie theater. It is all surrounded by a lake with alot of places... more

We were a party of four who stayed in two of the suites while we were attending a family wedding in the area. We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was a bonus. We also thought the room... more

The Gaithersburg Spring Hill Suites is my hotel of choice when I'm in DC visiting family. I've stayed there for years and they've always honored my requests. The rooms are extremely comfortable with everything I need for an extended stay. The kitchen area has a coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator. There is free wireless Internet access and a comfortable... more

We stayed here as part of a group for a wedding party. The hotel is clean and the rooms are modern and comfortable. There is a small sitting area as well as a microwave, desk, and mini-refrigerator. We appreciated these features when two of our friends visited us for a drink before going out for the evening. (The front desk... more

We stayed at Springhill Suites during a recent visit to the Baltimore Aquarium. The hotel was very affordable compared to the places closer to the aquarium. The rooms were nice and the staff was very accomadating. Breakfast was good, especially for the kids. The pool had a lifeguard that I really appreciated. This hotel is close to the highway and... more

My 6'2" son and I came down from Maine to set up his apartment for his attendance at the University of Maryland in College Park. We stayed in Gaithersburg because we have family there. After one week in another hotel that billed itself as a "suite," we were thrilled to switch over to the SpringHill Suites. The rooms are very... more

Overview: My wife and I visit Washington, DC, on a somewhat regular basis, about once a month. As such, we’ve had the opportunity to stay at a number of hotels in and around the city. This is the first time that we’ve stayed at a Springhill Suites by Marriott. The reason we chose Gaithersburg instead of staying in DC itself... more

Stayed at the SpringHill Suites in Gaithersburg from Friday - Sunday 27-29 April with my family (wife, mother, 4 yr old and 2 yr old) while researching the area for a potential job relocation. Price was good at $94/night, including continental breakfast. Room was okay - a little tight for this many people, but I think it would be fine... more

We stayed here for a few days while visiting Washington DC. Room was great, it has a sitting area with an extra TV. Linens and beds were very comfy, has a fridge, microwave, wet bar. Free breakfast every morning which had an assortment of food, very good. We took the metro from the Shady Grove station into DC. Shady Grove... more
