My fiance and I contacted Sinking Springs a few months ago about holding our wedding there. Everything was fine via phone conversation and we were excited to go tour the venue. When my fiance called back to schedule a tour, she was asked our names. When she told her, the owner was confused. When my fiance clarified that they were... More

My partner and I went to Sinking Springs- it looked lovely online and I saw positive reviews. The grounds were beautiful and Ann- the owner was very nice. When we went into the cottage we were hit with a musty smell, cobwebs, spiders, and found a roach in the bathroom. The bed was very uncomfortable and the baseboard heat didn't... More

Well I read a number of the other reviews and I need to say that I have mixed feelings about the negative ones. First of all, this farm is absolutely beautiful. The flowers, herbs and trees were full and aromatic. We arrived and were promptly greeted by the nicest woman in her cute little blue hat and welcoming smile. We... More

Nice lady and nice grounds but the place is more of a converted garden shed than a real house, think 2/3 scale. The bathroom was infested with tiny biting ants that especially liked the toilet area. The water was stinky sulfur water, so not taking a shower, like you could even get into the tiny shower stall. Unhappy, we left... More

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary. When we got there it was just beautiful, the grounds were lovely and Ann, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming in showing us around. The cottage was so cute from the outside, but when we went in I was a bit disappointed. First off it smelled really... More

What can I say about Ann & Bill Stubbs? They are amazing! The whole herb farm is so beautiful you would think you were in a fairytale (or the Shire if you are a Tolkien fan)! The cottage is the cutest thing ever and breakfast each morning was outstanding! Ann, you are a gem, and your classes, tours, and luncheons... More
