I travel extensively and loved my 4 days at this property. The staff was very helpful and friendly and it has to be the best location in Easton. Stop searching for anything better, this place is the best in town with great history, great staff, service, and accomodations. The room was spacious and beds were very comfortable, I slept very... Stayed at the Tidewater for a wedding. It was a really nice property. As stated earlier, they are under renovation. We were there on a Saturday-Sunday and there was no construction going on. They charge $10 for valet parking, but they are great about advising where it is okay to self-park. Even though there is currently no restaurant on site... More

Ive been budget traveling around the maryland area for a few months now and this hotel is one of the best ive stayed in. The lobby and rooms were beautiful and unique, it was centrally located in the middle of a totally adorable little town, the staff was friendly and the televison got all the local stations (a big deal... The Tide Water Inn and Conference Center in Easton, Maryland is under construction, but you would never know that from the service that was provided. From the time we walked through the doors we were treated with concern for our comfort. Staff were more than accommodating and couldn't do enough to make our staff a pleasant experience. We were afraid... More

My husband and I have traveled extensively in the United States. We always choose to stay at an older Inn, if possible. We were at the Tidewater Inn in the early part of August and we had a lovely stay. We were forewarned when we booked online that they were renovating and we came prepared with snacks and drinks in... My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a wedding in August of 2006. The wedding was not at this hotel, but at a fabulous inn called the Oaks in St. Michaels, MD. The Oaks I would highly recommend, the Tidewater not so much. First of all we were told this hotel offered a wonderful bar and restaurant. There... More

Enjoyed my stay at the Tidewater Inn. It's a charming inn located in a lovely town. Our room was a little worn but I prefer it any day to a cookie-cutter chain hotel. The beds were great-complete with Frette linens and a featherbed. I guess the air conditioning must have not been on in the past, but it was working... More

Placed my wedding group here in April. Wonderful location and good staff that do not have decision-making authority. Unfortunately we were not notified that the hotel has no air conditioning. All my guests complained Hotel has no parking facility and uses the city lots - ask before booking about regulations Overall would not recommend this hotel until the construction is... More

Interior of room very nice, clean, staff friendly but not always on top of things. Conferece facilites nice enough. However, patio outside bar is open until 2 AM and is very noisy - be sure to book room on far side of hotel. Other street noise comes right through the old windows - street cleaner at 5 AM. Number one... More

We arrived on Friday May 5th for two nights. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were put in a smallish but elegant room- overlooking a parking lot towards the back of the hotel, no real view but I prefer the quiet. Covering the window were 2"wood blinds, looked very nice but not effective in keeping out the early... More
