I stayed here for one night with an old high school friend on a weekend getaway. The room was a good size (small bathroom) and we had a great view from the charming floor-to-ceiling windows. The hotel overall feels a little rustic, but it's not run down and the room was very clean. Lovely soft bed linens and fluffy towels.... More

The Tidewater is a beautiful, historic hotel and located in a delightful historic district that you can explore all day. That said, it's a small town and they roll up the sidewalks pretty early, including the hotel bar; last call was 11 pm at the Tidewater's Hunter's Tavern and evidently also at Tarrant's Cafe on the opposite corner. So, that... More

I stayed here two nights due to a winter storm that threatened my ability to get to work, and the Inn is very convenient to my office. Since it was off season and in the midst of a big storm, there weren't a lot of guests. Contrary to complaints of noise in other reviews, I found it very quiet. The... More

This is a circa 1940s hotel that a few decades ago was in decline, but on this visit we were pleased to find it has been returned to its former glory. The public areas are lovely (including a very new and very sleek bar/restaurant area that the bartender told us was refurbished just lasst year). Our guestroom was attractively furnished... More

Wonderful weekend getaway. My partner and I decided to just take a long ride from Baltimore and wanted to visit friends in the Easton area before the Holidays . I need to comment on the staff and their customer service. We got in late and checked in at The Tidewater, we were greeted by friendly staff even though it was... More

I was impressed with the presence and location of the Tidewater Inn in Easton. It has a lovely entrance. The rooms were older but very comfortable. We stayed 3 days while on VBT bike tour of the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay. I also had a couple of dinners in the restaurant.-decent without being extraordinary. The beautiful thing is... We stayed at the Inn with our daughter, her husband and our granddaughter just after Christmas. The accommodations were perfect for families. We shared a suite so we had our separate bedrooms and a nice living area with a bathroom between us. It gave us plenty of room to spread out with the baby and her pack and play, toys,... More

We were visiting the Eastern Shore on a Sunday afternoon and decided to return to Easton. It was such a wonderful day that we decided to stop at the Tidewater Inn. We have never stayed in this historic inn but we were happy we did. Last minute, no plans and no reservations. The front desk was very accommodating since we... More

This was our second time staying at the Tidewater and again we enjoyed it. I had complained when I made the booking that the bathroom in our previous room was the size of a matchbox. They had my comment on file and we got a room with a bigger bathroom! The hotel is cosy (even in Jan we had no... More
