My wife and I stayed here for a weekend in June with our small dog. We had an awful experience. This hotel claims to be dog friendly but it was not the case for us. I would not even call it guest friendly. The walls are paper thin so if a dog barks, in reality, the entire floor can hear... more

We were in Annapolis for a wedding and had heard how great the town of St. Michaels was so we thought we'd add a few days to our trip to check it out. Turns out St. Michaels was twice the price of Easton, MD so we stayed at The Tidewater. Turned out to be the best choice. We have stayed... more

This was the most difficult reservation I've ever made...and my company already HAD a reserved block of rooms for our group. This endeavor took four (yes, 4!) phone calls to complete a single room reservation. I was cut off twice, the third call went unanswered, and on the final and fourth call the gentleman (whom I dealt with each time,... more

We stayed two nights in a suite for just a little more than the price of a room. The rooms were spacious, clean, well funished and nicely decorated. Everything seemed fairly new, and the staff was uniformly helpful, friendly and courteous. Breakfast (included in the price) was not elaborate, but was adequate. Valet parking was $10 extra. Would certainly stay... more

My husband chose this historic hotel as an 'almost' surprise for Mother's Day Weekend. 'Almost' because he read reviews here ( trick he learned from me) and the mixed reviews gave him pause so he asked me to find out more (there goes the surprise). It seemed that most of the complaints were about noisy children and dogs. We were... more

My experience was all positive. The staff were very warm and courteous. I only had to ask for something once before my room was supplied with it daily. I had valet service for my car and it was always ready when I had requested it. The bed was fantastic and the throw just perfect for an afternoon nap. I celebrated... more

This is our 3rd stay at the historic Tidewater Inn located in colonial style Easton Md. Eastern shore noted for its rich history and crab cakes and of the delightful seafood cuisine gave me and my wife an remembrance experience that out do our last two trips to Easton. First contact with the baggage handlers honest and delightful and all... more

It was serendipity! We had driven down to southern MD on an equisite, sunny and clear Saturday to explore the region. We stopped in Cambridge, MD, St. Michaels and Tighlman Island looking for the perfect place to spend the night at a reasonable rate. We knew that we were taking a big chance since we had no reservations. We looked... more

I chose this hotel just to have something different from a chain hotel. Upon pulling up to the hotel, I was very impressed. The location is great and the hotel looked both fancy and homey at the same time. The staff was extremely friendly, so much so it felt at times like I was staying at a friend's house. The... more

We stayed at the Tidewater Inn for a friends wedding in St. Michaels. It was a good compromise on location and price. The Hotel is centrally located in Easton's historic downtown, which was actually quite nice. The downtown is only about 4 blocks by 4 blocks and has a mix of small shops, antique stores and modern nice restaurants. The... more
