We stayed at this lovely B and B in November. We chose the "crows nest" & found it to be very cozy. Afternoon tea/ coffee/wine was available, (along with fresh baked goodies) in the parlor, & we enjoyed them in front of a roaring fire.

My husband & I had the pleasure of staying the Bruce House B&B this past weekend. Pam was there to greet us when we arrived and show us to our room, The Monk Room, which was just beautiful. We were on the 3rd floor and could look out the windows and see the town of Cumberland in different directions. Every... More

This is a very nice place to stay. Close to the main center (we walked) but in a quiet street. The bedroom we had was the George Washington and the bed and bathroom were first rate. The breakfast was great and the hostess very helpful. No ironing facilities in the room but was available upon request. Hairdryer in the room... More

Great location, just up the hill from the "roads closed" walking area of Cumberland. Beds comfortable and very clean. House historic and lovely. Service outstanding during meals and check in. Helped us get clothes to a nearby laundry for service on our lay over. We were a biking group of 11 people and had lots of questions which staff worked... More

We stayed here one night at the end of our GAP Ride. The house and rooms are beautiful and our room was very large with a nice sitting room and even a nice vanity to do your hair and makeup. Pam had cookies when we arrived and wine was put out in the evening to help yourself. Unfortunately, we were... More

So nice to have someone go the extra mile - Pam was in her robe in the rain taking care of my bike security and giving me a late room with no reservation. My room was wonderful as well- very spacious and cozy. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for something a bit more special over a hotel... More

This B&B is located in a perfect area of town. The pedestrian mall, Canal Place, and restaurants are a short walk through a beautiful and historic neighborhood. Our room was downstairs near the front of the house, but since there is little traffic on the street, it was quiet and peaceful. The room itself was very comfortable and pleasantly decorated,... My daughter and I stayed one evening at this lovely inn as we passed through Cumberland. The innkeeper accommodated a late arrival. Our room was very clean, comfortable and well-furnished and had been updated since the online photos. Our two-course breakfast was delicious and served in a charming dining room. The pedestrian mall was within walking distance. Definitely a nice... More

This is a clean, quiet, historically interesting and well-restored B&B that is just a short walk from the beautiful historic homes on Washington Street and other local attractions. The help-yourself lemonade and snacks in the bar-breakfast area were much appreciated on arrival, and breakfast was good. Through no fault of the owner's, there was some construction going on next door,... More

I'm glad you enjoyed the beautiful view - the lit church steeple at night is one of the prettiest sights in town. Thanks for the kind words, and I'm sorry that the work across the street disrupted your enjoyment. The good news is, it's all done now! Thank you for taking the time to review us, and I hope to...
