Was in Crisfeild, to spend time on the Sound. We stayed at the Best Value Somers Cove Motel, I found it to be very relaxing and peaceful. The staff was out of this world, like staying with family. I stayed at the Best Value Somers Cove Motel before taking a trip to Tangier Island (which was great.) The rooms are dirty, rundown and a little scary. I stayed at this motel on June 7 & July 11 & found it to be average. The waterview is excellent & there are picnic tables on a grassy area next to the marina. The town is small & shuts down early so there are only a few eateries to pick from & they close at 10 however, the room... more

The Pictures of this motle on the Net are misleading. I found the rooms to be very dirty. The matresses were stained with unknown substances. The floor was not swept properly and you could see the remnants of the last persons' meal on the floor. (pretzels, chips) The sheets weer also stained. You have to drive by public housing to... more
