The hotel has a number of positives--large rooms, small but pleasant pool, decent breakfast, but our room was extremely tired looking and the housekeeping was poor. I am not normally that picky, but when we checked into our room, the carpet had not been completely vacuumed and there were some dirty splotches in the bathroom and kitchen. The next day,... more

The rooms are a bit larger than most hotels, which for a business traveler is very important. I love the actual size fridge! The towels are so plush and comfortable (probably my favorite thing about the hotel). The tv's aren't programmed correctly, so some channels never come up unless selected, but that's a small pet peve. The exercise room is... more

Just had a large affair and we booked a block of rooms at the Staybridge for the out of town guests. Everyone that I asked had nice things to say about the hotel. I can tell you that the staff was very pleasant and easy to deal with throughout the process. Will certainly use them again..... more

Just returned from attending a wedding in Columbia. Shout out to T'aneisha, who dealt with MY oversight with manners and grace. (I forgot I was booked for 2 nights, was a no show for Night One, and when I arrived for Night Two after lunch..they had rented out my room since they had no idea where I was.) In other... more

This is an exceptionally good hotel. Worst thing - the sign from the street is very small & unlit. Once you find it - great. Best thing - breakfast outside in the courtyard. Big comfy rooms with a nice size open area in each suite. Wonderful people and had a very nice stay in the Baltimore/Washington Area. This is convenient... more

I've been here for two weeks now. I agree with other reviewers that some parts of the hotel are a bit run down, but I find it comfortable anyway. With the free laundry (machines all appear to be fairly new now), breakfast every morning and an OK dinner Tuesdays through Thursdays, along with both wired and wireless Internet in the... more

Boy did I make a mistake here. Situated along side a noisy highway in a weird location, the people are unfirendly, the place is beat up and the "value" is, well, not there. Not a place for business people or families. more

We were only in town for the day and were leaving the next morning so we weren't here very long, but I wish I could have stayed longer. The hotel was newer, clean, comfortable, and in a seemingly nice area within a short drive of many stores and restaurants. Check in was fast. The employees were very polite. There wasn't... more

We enjoyed our three day stay at the Staybridge Suites. The rooms are very spacious. The food is better than average. They even offer free evening meals a few nights a week. The staff is friendly. We stayed at the Residence Inn Columbia the previous week and prefer the Staybridge. more

I'm extreely fond of Staybirdge: it offers better amenities, on the whole, than its competitors (e.g., Studio Plus, Residence Inn, or Homewood Suites). The laundry is free(!), the breakfast is reasonable, there's some minimal business center, there's a free package of microwave poporn in the room, and there's free (wired) net. On the other hand, it doesn't offer plushy bedding... more
