Used this hotel as a base during my research trip to the NARA in College Park. Free shuttle to the archives and free internet are the main reasons to take this hotel. Rooms are large but dark. Breakfast is free but don't expect much. Location is o.k. with some restaurants and shops nearby. If you wan't to go to DC... more

This is a no-frills hotel amongst strip malls on a major road. It was an adequate place to stay but nothing fancy. One can hear some noise from the road, but earplugs block out the sound. The hotel has a free shuttle, but one also can easily walk from the metro station and the university to the hotel. more

stayed here for work in college park for 6 weeks. even though i am a dirty construction worker and not being that picky, i found this place unlivable. we had the following problems: poor housekeeping, housekeeping drank our sodas and management didn't do anything to resolve it, a trash can had sharpie "pool towels only" on it (just found that... more

If you don't mind hearing toilets flushing from other rooms and sounding like it's your room, than this won't bother you. Walls are paper PAPER thin and noise from surrounding rooms, kept me awake ALL night. 6am hall noise was unreal. People weren't even being loud and could hear everything. Room was pretty dumpy, not much as for linens on... more

Conveniently located close to the University of Maryland, although just beyond walking distance. Plenty of car parking space. Comfortable rooms, free wifi internet, neat and clean. No views. Very modest breakfast (I can't get over the ice-cold boiled eggs) but the apples, cereal and make-it-yourself waffles are enough to get the day started. more

I have stayed at plenty of hotels up and down the east coast, while not the best, this hotel provides convenience, value and service/ I was simply impressed with the service I received, it was consistent throughout my stay. The hotel was within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and an employee even recommended The Old Calvert House, which was... more

I booked this hotel on my visit to Washington DC because I found very close to Metro rail in the area at which I was attending seminars in DC. I really didn't expect much. The rooms were excellent but buildings look old . I called about the heat not working and they had it fixed in no time. Shuttle service... more

I slept one night in this hotel on my way back home. I checked in at 11.30 pm and checked out at 8.00 am. All in all my experience is much better than previous travellers. The room & bathroom were clean. The bed is not the best i, but not bad. The breakfast was included in the price and it... more

I stayed at this place because we had a 2-week class at the business school at UMD, so the hotel was close and we got a special rate for the rooms. If it weren’t for that, I would have changed hotels immediately. Never would I advice to pay the full price of 109 $ for a hotel room there. For... more
