Came here because it was not too far from D.C. There are good and things about this hotel. Let's start with the good. The breakfast staff is very nice and will make waffles for you, the room is very spacious, there is a huge swimming pool, and there is a delicious restaurant next door to the hotel. However, there were... More

The room facing outside is horrible. Carpet is not dry and the room doesn't smell fresh. Front desk is unfriendly, not professional and not willing to help. Don't be deceived with the photo/pictures on their website. It's not as nice as they look. Breakfast is alright but the boiled egg tastes horrible.

I spent 1 night here out of necessity. Booked it on Priceline for well under advertised price. The hotel is sprawling and the layout is very confusing. The lobby is poorly lit, with narrow hallways and blind corners where people could hide. I felt unsafe in the hotel. Once in my room, I locked the door and didn't go back... More

We used a coupon from one of the hotel coupon books one can pick up at rest stops on I-95 or usually at Dennys. The 2 double bedded room came to less than $80 per night which is very good in the U of M and DC area. They only had a handicapped room left so we were on the... More

We checked into this hotel around 8pm on a Sunday night that we booked through an outside booking agent. We ate Indian food at the restaurant onsite, The Asian Fusion, that was very good!! If you tell them you are a guest of the hotel you get 20 percent off of your check too. The room was ok but there... More

The internet pictures for this hotel were extremely misleading. The hotel was very loud & dirty; my TV was broken and a light bulb busted into pieces onto my bed; just after turning on the light. I slept in glass that night because nobody ever showed to clean up the mess (and I wouldn't dare to sleep without a sheet),... More

I stayed at the Clarion for 5 nights while on a research trip to the National Archives. I chose the hotel because of its shuttle service and reasonable price. Overall, my stay was OK, but I think I would try a different College Park hotel next time. The staff is friendly and tries hard, but they are lacking in resources.... More
