My husband and I stayed at Cherry Hill Park for one week in Sept. 2014 for the sole purpose of visiting Washington DC. Cherry Hill is a pleasant park but as I have pointed out in other post, valuable for its convenience to a tourist attraction and public transportation rather than "camping." The staff is very friendly and helpful. Although... More

The bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus. My complaint is this: when I called to make reservations, I told them we had a little Combicamp trailer, which is basically a tent on wheels. In all our travels, we have never once been denied a tent spot. The staff member I spoke with asked for the dimensions of our... More

We are sorry for all of the confusion you encountered during your stay. We have clarified our tent camping policies with our clerks and will take this into consideration when reevaluating policies. Sorry again. More

As newbies, on our first long road trip, we stayed here for two nights in November 2014. Our rig had been winterized (31 foot Winnebago Outlook class C) because it was cold leaving Vermont. Staff here was incredibly helpful in helping us un-winterize. Everyone was friendly, pleasant, and the amenities are great. Would love to come here in summer for... More

Thank you to staff at Cherry Hill Campground. We just spent 6 nights there. Made it for last orientation of tours for this season, went on night tour of Washington and Bus came and picked us up and dropped us off. Bus came right into campground to take campers to train station and dropped you off at night. Clean Laundry... More

I've stayed here twice, once in a tent, once in a camper. Both were equally enjoyable. The only negative was the tent site location. The site itself was lovely, but it was abutting the interstate which made for a bit of noise. However, the campground itself is fantastic! Clean facilities, swimming pools, hot tub, game room, concession, family movies offered... More

Yes, it is noisy -- especially when you are just assigned a site--they put you near the interstate. Definitely request a quiet site -- we did not know ahead of time. Grabbing the bus into the metro was so convenient! The bus stops right at the campground. Loved that. Getting back was a little more stressful. On the weekends you... More

We travel between NH and FL each Spring and Fall. Since discovering Cherry Hill Park a few years ago, we've stayed there twice a year. The sites are level, water/electric/cable hookups are in great condition...and we're able to quickly plug in. Entire park is clean...really clean. We generally ask for Pull-Thru sites wherever we travel...but ended up in a back... More

We only stayed at Cherry Hill Park Campground while visiting our daughter. Everything we encountered was great... It was clean and quiet; staff was friendly and helpful, But, have to to reserve opinion of the overall campground until we have more experience.

Very Very Very excellent campground! Level site, convenient trash pick up, great store with all your RV needs and wants, Nature trail, great pool, great cafe' for meals on the go. After reading some negative reviews regarding the loud interstate that is quite near, I was a little worried upon check-in because we travel in a hybrid camper (part tent... More

As full-time RVers you begin to really value certain things: level sites, convenient trash removal, single-stream recycling, big laundry facilities, and a central location. It's obvious from check-in that this place knows how to best meet the needs of travelers. Even the signage from the roads is better than average. Check-in is quick and efficient. Amenities are far superior that... More
