We have been staying at RV parks in our motorhome for the past three years and have found one or two others parks where the wifi actually works and we find that to be a huge plus. If you advertise wifi, it should work all day long, not only at 3 am when most of the people are asleep. Cherry... More

We stayed for a few nights with our small 2-persons tents. The good point is that the tent area is away from the RVs, among the trees so our site was always shady. Restrooms are clean but far away from the tents site. As we were only 2 persons and a small tent, we found the price a bit steep... More

I spent the past weekend at Cherry Hill RV Resort for the first time, and was extremely impressed. It's a beautifully kept campground, and has everything you need on-site. We used the bus and Metro to go to the Zoo. It was a bit of a ride, a little over an hour, but worked out well. I will definitely be... More

Cherry Hill Park RV park met our expectations very well. It is quite large and we were glad to be given a site close to the store/ bus depot so that we wouldn’t have to do much walking at the end of a tired day of sightseeing. The sites are fairly small, but well graveled and level. The park is... More

I have camped for over 40 years, and this is by far the best campground I have ever stayed at. The grounds, staff and amenities are excellent. The bathroom nearest our camp site was new and the cleanest I have ever seen at a campground. Never had to wait to take a shower either. If we are ever in this... More

We stayed for three nights with a travel trailer. The book in process was seamless and we were warmly welcomed by Lou the park assistant as well. Choice of site in sun or shade. Site given had partial shade and was perfect. Sites have gravel pads for RV, excellent connections to hook-ups including sewerage. Campfire and outdoor table provided on... More

The campground is very convenient to DC. It is a little pricey for camping, but has a lot of amenities and is far more reasonable than hotels in the area. They have a pool that we used frequently. The place is kept very nice. My only warning is that the tent camping is fairly close to the highway. We had... More

We were looking for a campground not too far from DC so we could see some of the sights and Cherry Hill sounded like a good choice. Being we're not from the city I was a little unsure about the transportation but the staff at the campground explained everything perfect and we felt very comfortable taking the bus and rail... This is a very good campground, especially to visit Washington DC. The bus stops at the campground and the offices sells the bus/metro cards. The regular bus will take approximately 25 minutes to reach Metro station College Park. There are however a few special busses (among them 9.00 and 9.30 h) which go directly in 15 minutes. The campground is... More

We spent a full week at this campground while visiting Washington DC attractions. We could not have been happier with this campground - one of the best we've stayed at in the last few years. The staff is incredibly helpful - from the check in folks, to the folks checking your site, to the folks at the cafe. They offered... More
