My wife and i had planned a weekend visit to the Washington area. We did not want to stay right downtown because there were other attractions that we wanted to visit and they were scattered through out the general area. This hotel was a perfect choice. It is located about 3 blocks from I-495. Very easy to get off and... more

I thought smoking wasn’t allowed in hotels anymore? Well it is in this one! We requested a non-smoking room and when we arrived there wasn’t one available. I stayed at the hotel with my boyfriend and his family, so we used several rooms. After we checked in a few hours later my boyfriend’s brother checked in and received a non-smoking... more

The location of this Hampton Inn is great - easy access to DC via Metro Greenbelt Station, close to shopping and restaurants, and excellent service. All Hampton Inn amenities and predictably high quality. more

Second time I have stayed at this location. Two night stay on the second floor was disappointing. A large group of kids were staying on the same floor. Lots of doors slamming, cigarette smoke in the hallway and hanging out in the lobby. I have to say that the suite I was in did keep the noise out pretty well.... more

This was my third stay at a Hampton Inn. I specifically booked here because of my experience at the the other two I had stayed at. The hotel had all the Hampton Inn staples, the bed and pillows(really comfortable), wireless internet. My room had a microwave and refrigerator. I had two complaints. I stayed on the second floor and it... more

My sixth stay here, and as usual, clean, comfortable, and dependable. The staff treated us nicely, and the lady in the breakfast area, went out of her way to help . She even went as far as warming a different breakfast for me, when I said I was a vegetarian, and couldn't eat that day's breakfast, due to bacon on... more

Just got back from staying 3 nights at the College Park, MD Hampton Inn with my family. I chose this hotel because of it's location to an event we were attending in College Park and because of the Hampton name and past experience. It lived up to the Hampton name just fine. The room was clean and orderly. We had... more

I look for Hampton Inns when looking for an overnight stop on a road trip or, as in this case, on business. They tend to be clean and have pleasant decor and amenities and are a good value. I selected this hotel for its location near the site of business meetings I had the next day. It's also very near... more

I was disappointed with my stay at the College Park Hampton Inn. On our first of two nights, we were placed in a smoking room, despite our reservation of a nonsmoking room. It was not until later in the evening that we discovered the smoking smell and decided to wait for the morning to request a new room. This smoking... more

From check in to check out I had problems at this hotel. I would suggest that if you are traveling to College Park on business you stay somewhere else. I reserved two double beds nonsmoking with the hotel's representative on the phone. When I arrived I was told I had been "Upgraded" to a king room. Pathetically it was a... more
