I took my wife to the Brampton inn for a birthday weekend. The inn was great, the food was exceptional, and the service was unobtrusive. They made great recommendations for restaurants. We stayed in one of the rooms that were not part of the main inn and found the room both comfortable and private. It is a really relaxing and... more

This was our second stay at Brampton Inn. We requested and got our favorite room, although the other rooms were quite spacious, comfy, and beautiful. The breakfasts both days were outstanding and served in style. Afternoon "goodies" were a treat, not to mention a vast assortment of homemade cookies always available. The finishing touch - wine and sherry and beverages... more

We really wanted to like this inn after reading some of the reviews on here and on its website. But it has some problems, and is particularly overpriced for what you get. What we liked about it was that it was more like an inn than a b&b (no forced chatter with strangers in the morning, most tables were thankfully... more

We stayed at the Brampton Inn to celebrate our anniversary. It was a delightful experience. The property is beautiful, the rooms well appointed, and the staff was friendly and welcoming and couldn't have been more attentive. The breakfasts we had were superior, using the finest ingredients. Even better, the inn is located only 5 minutes away from historic Chestertown, close... more

We recently stayed for a weekend getaway and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The Mulberry cottage was the perfect retreat with many relaxing conveniences - soaking tub, whirlpool bath, steam shower, A/C, kitchenette, private outdoor seating. It's a quiet retreat on the edge of the property where you get to hear the wind blowing and birds singing. The biggest drawback of the... more

This was our very first B&B experience. The innkeepers were so kind and very attentive to all of our needs. The breakfast was delicious, the grounds were beautiful, the room was a gracious size, and you can't forget their endless cookie jar! It was a very relaxing and romantic vacation for us. more

My wife and I recently celebrated our first wedding anniversary at the Brampton Inn and couldn't have been happier with our visit. Even before we arrived, we were greeted with impecable customer service by the innkeeper, whom we had called days before our visit to inquire about some of their kayak rentals. Upon arriving, we were greeted with a warm... more

Brampton Inn is a gorgeous retreat with beautiful gardens on a lovely, well appointed estate. All the guest rooms were comfortable, with no detail forgotten. The staff/owners at the Inn made our stay even more special - we had requested the seperate cottage (Russell's Cottage) in order to accomadate our 2 dogs traveling with us, and we were greeted with... more

My husband and I just celebrated our 16th wedding anniversay at the Brampton Inn in Chestertown, Maryland. We rented their Mulberry Cottage for two wonderful nights. A true "getaway" from our very hectic lifestyles, the cottage provided us with the serenity and privacy we yearned for. The cost was $425 per night, but it was definitely worth it for us.... more
