The Ship Watch Inn is the perfect spot for a weekend get away. The room was quaint, clean and comfortable. The view and sunset were beautiful. I highly recommend the inn! We will go back again. The staff was very pleasant and Chesapeake City is a cute little town.

Great location right on the water. Easy walking to shops and bars. Air conditioning was a little subpar and no way to make my room cooler (I like to be chilly while sleeping). Friendly staff. The kitchen was closed during my stay so they offered vouchers for breakfast at the Bohemia café across the street which was wonderful.

My daughter got married at the Chesapeake Inn so we stayed at the Shipwatch Inn. What a wonderful place! The views from our balcony were beautiful! The room was elegant and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were awesome. I would highly recommend the Shipwatch to anyone.

We come here each year for our Wedding Anniversary and it's always wonderful. The staff is great, the room and view are amazing and the breakfast is to die for. We will be back every year without question.

We stayed Friday and Saturday nights in the Queen Anne room on the second floor. Our room was very attractive and the king size bed was comfortable. There is a large jacuzzi tub in the bathroom of this room. This inn is especially nice because of their location, and the view from the balcony looking right at the canal and... More

The inn is quite nice and right next to the canal. The only problem I saw was that you have no control over the a/c in your room. The inn sets the temp. for every room. The other strange thing was that the breakfast is set ie. today was waffles if you want something like cereal, out of luck.

We spent a wonderful night at the Ship Watch Inn. The staff are friendly, the food is excellent, the accommodations are lovely and the canal view is wonderful! We stayed here while participating in the annual Horseshoe Crab Survey Count. Would love to come back next year.

Even if the Inn didn't face the canal, it would be an outstanding place to stay. While one of the oldest buildings in Chesapeake City, it is clean and up to date. Our hostess, Rene was gracious, welcoming, helpful, and a great cook, too. As others have said, all the rooms face the canal - the 3rd busiest in the... More

We loved our room on the third floor. The view was amazing, especially as the BIG ships passed. Breakfast was a good start for our day. Snacks and soft drinks an added bonus. We stayed in April so the town was quiet but lovely. We would return and recommend to others.

What a lovely place. The staff was wonderful. Our room was so sweet and comfortable with a view of the water from our balcony. Beverages and fresh baked goods available to the guests. We walked into the charming town for a great dinner. We had our morning coffee in the outdoor hot tub by the canal. Such a relaxing visit-... More
