I hesitate to write this review because I would like the Shipwatch to stay a secret just for us but…. where else can you sit out on your deck in a rocking chair and watch the barges and tankers glide almost silently by? Where else do you wake up to a wonderful breakfast served right outside your door on that... More

The Ship Watch Inn was incredible to us on our first night of marriage. The room was amazing and the views were breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and really made us feel comfortable. Our room opened up to the bay and breakfast was served on the deck. We had an amazing night and morning at this bed... More

Without a doubt, the Ship Watch Inn provides a magnificent view of the C&D Canal. Every room has a sliding glass door to a deck overlooking the water, from which you can sit at the tables provided in front of each unit or in the rocking chairs on the deck and enjoy the view and the music from the Chesapeake... Hi recently stayed in this fantastic little B&B. Would highly recommend it as a place to stay. the town is also worth spending at least a couple of days in so having such an amazing spot to rest your head works out perfectly!

Such a great place to stay - the view of the canal is unbeatable (since you're 20 feet away from it), the food is great (both breakfast and the baked goods they make each day), and the owners/caretakers are incredibly friendly. A wonderful experience.

My husband and I stayed at Ship Watch Inn for the first time this last weekend. What a beautiful B &B. Stayed in the Dorchester Room and it was lovely and clean. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching boats come in and relaxing. The staff was excellent and accommodating. Thank you to all! We ate breakfast right outside our room... More

This is a great couples getaway. The town is full of life, young or older, you will find a lot to do. We are water lovers so we always stay near the water, this was our sixth time. We stayed in the Wicomico room on the first floor, very lovely. The rooms are elegantly furnished, fairly priced and all have... More

We had a lovely stay at Ship Watch Inn! Staff is friendly and accommodating, room was lovely, view of the canal was beautiful! Close walk to shops and restaurants. My husband said his eggs Benedict was over cooked... I asked for scrambled and they were happy to accommodate. We'll be back again I'm sure!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Ship Watch Inn. Clean comfortable rooms with a great view of the canal. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, and served right outside our room on the balcony. Restaurants and stores are all in walking distance from the Inn. Wonderful stay, we will defiantly return.

My wife and I have visited the Ship Watch Inn many times over the last ten years and already have additional dates booked. It is our "Home Away from Home". We love the food, the views are spectacular and the Inn Keeper (Renee) always cooks up an awesome breakfast and provides us with a welcome greeting that keeps us coming... More
