I stayed a night and was supposed to be charged for $73.89 for one night and one person. I played $45 in cash and asked for the remainder to be charged to my debit card. The next day I check my transactions and I was charged for $45 on my credit card as well. So I call the front desk... More

The pictures the advertise are deceiving. Yes it may look like a nice clean room but it's not. It's a small cramped room. Service was terrible. My husband and I got in late and stop by the front desk, we went to open the door and he yelled "sold out." That was it... Then we get to our room and... More

This is the worst possible place to stay for anyone ever. As soon as we arrived the price we booked was completely out the window and the stupid clerk in the office tells us the price is now $40 more than the booking website and she can't change it. We reluctantly paid, this was our mistake, we then ask for... More

We went up to DC and decided to stay 1 night..Whatever you DO, don't go to the Motel 6 across from Andrew's Air Force Base! ! A Cop car stays on the lot, something smelled like a BODYdecomposing and we had to go buy 3 cans of spray to try to cover the odor that was in our room as... More

Rooms are 1/2 way clean, Customer service sucks in this place. I rented a room at 3pm they told me I couldn't get into it until 6pm, but I had to pay the same price. Inside of the room the shower head didn't work. This room is a mess. Dirty shower and the sheets had hair in it.

My husband and I had been traveling all day and were exhausted. We pulled in here because the chain has a good name (I thought). The girl at the desk was pleasant. The room was awful. The carpet was dirty. There was no clock, no hair dryer, no shampoo, no coffee maker, no tissues. The furniture was badly damaged with... More

Absolutely did not sleep on the bed! Dirty place! You can possible contract a disease there. The staff was not professional nor available at nights...god knows what he was doing at that time...maybe using a room for his own service. If you go there.... cleanliness is not a priority for you and therefore you are a sad person! Oh yea... More

We planned our trip from NJ to DC during summer '11, but did not stay in Motel 6 before, so just wanted to give it a try. This place was really the worst and terrible place on earth! Had we not have kids with us, we would have better slept in our car! The size of the room was very... More
