We went up to DC and decided to stay 1 night..Whatever you DO, don't go to the Motel 6 across from Andrew's Air Force Base! ! A Cop car stays on the lot, something smelled like a BODYdecomposing and we had to go buy 3 cans of spray to try to cover the odor that was in our room as... More

Rooms are 1/2 way clean, Customer service sucks in this place. I rented a room at 3pm they told me I couldn't get into it until 6pm, but I had to pay the same price. Inside of the room the shower head didn't work. This room is a mess. Dirty shower and the sheets had hair in it.

My husband and I had been traveling all day and were exhausted. We pulled in here because the chain has a good name (I thought). The girl at the desk was pleasant. The room was awful. The carpet was dirty. There was no clock, no hair dryer, no shampoo, no coffee maker, no tissues. The furniture was badly damaged with... More

Absolutely did not sleep on the bed! Dirty place! You can possible contract a disease there. The staff was not professional nor available at nights...god knows what he was doing at that time...maybe using a room for his own service. If you go there.... cleanliness is not a priority for you and therefore you are a sad person! Oh yea... More

We planned our trip from NJ to DC during summer '11, but did not stay in Motel 6 before, so just wanted to give it a try. This place was really the worst and terrible place on earth! Had we not have kids with us, we would have better slept in our car! The size of the room was very... More

When we checked into our room, it was rather dirty (a few papers/debris on floor, and the bathroom counter had not been cleaned properly) but we overlooked it as it was late and we were really tired and just wanted to shower/sleep for the night. When we turned down the bed sheets however, one of the two doubles looked SLEPT... More

I booked this motel online for my trip to D.C. and thought it would be ok since it had a 3 star rating by reviewersand said newly remodeled. I only planned to stay there at night to sleep since most of my time would be in D.C. I arrived at the motel at 11pm and was told I could not... More

We arrived earlier than expected, so of course our reserved room wasn't ready. When we returned several hours later, we were given our room and it was gross! That actually might be a polite word. The room had a BAD, damp, mildew smell. My daughter took her shoes off and walked across to the bathroom in her socks. The soles... More

Planned to stay at Andrews AF base , but could not get a reservation for the full time that I would be there. This location advertised as newly renovated. So, I made a reservation for a non-smoking room. When I got there the computers were down, and they had already given out all the non-smoking rooms because they did not... More
