Beautiful hotel, extra-large, spacious rooms and THE most comfortable bed. Hyatt style at its grandest. Beautiful views, quiet rooms and the nicest piano/jazz bar in the grand hotel lobby. All glass windows, floor to ceiling, facing Chesapeake Bay and wonderful for catching a thunder and lightening storm. Nice piers for long walks. Service at its best, the Hyatt way.

We went to this resort for our anniversary and completely enjoyed our stay. The walks along the water and out on the piers, the 3 pools, and the fire pit in the evenings made for a special weekend.

My best friend got married in May at this hotel and all of the guests were encouraged to stay here, and it's always interesting to stay at a place you didn't choose. Very happy this place is great so everything worked out. Some highlights. A group of us played golf at their course on Friday. Very friendly staff throughout the... More

I stayed at the Hyatt Chesapeake for 4 days for a conference. The resort is magnificent. The rooms are great, the food is first class and the staff is top rate. If you are looking to plan a conference there, they are the best. Andrew Tennant was an invaluable resource and not only did all that we asked of him,... More

We read the reviews and carefully scheduled our getaway for the Sunday-Monday slot, and were rewarded for it--fewer kids, fewer guests, and lots of attention from the staff. Rooms were great, food & drinks are definitely pricey (though we stayed in the Regency Club level, which helped), but we found the service to be excellent. No problem with bedding or... More

My husband surprised me for my birthday with a trip to the Hyatt on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The resort is beautifully landscaped, and the grounds are expansive. The room was elegant, and we had a lovely water view. The indoor pool was the largest I've ever seen. The outdoor infinity pool overlooked a small beach area. Other recreational ammenities included... More

We went to this Hyatt Resort Property over Memorial Weekend. We didn't even know about this place - so it was quite a find for us. While it was busy, the crowd was manageable. There are lots to do in this resort. There is a huge infinity pool that the life guard on duty did a good job monitoring. Teenage... More

My husband and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and were pretty disappointed with the hotel. The food is very overpriced for lunch (try $14 for a burger and Lays chips) which we had to wait in line 20-30 minutes to order. Then you have to get the food yourself when your number is called. No wait service. Order... More

Overall i will say that this was a really nice place with a helpful staff. We stayed on the Regency Concierge level (6th floor) and paid an extremely high rate for a water view. The bed (king) was one of the worst beds I've ever experienced in a hotel. The bed was "well worn in" meaning it had deep pockets... More

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing weekend. We chose this Hyatt resort and were a little disappointed that all of the "resort activites" (except those before 8am), were geared towards kids. We would have liked to see some adult beach vollyball, dancing, or other adult activities. With a very depressed town (Cambridge, MD) nearby, we felt captive... More
