Stayed at the Hyatt for two nights on a business meeting. It is a standard Hyatt. Dinner at the Water’s Edge restaurant was surprisingly good, however, the wine list was awful – like lower grade supermarket with high prices. Lots of business meetings here. Wow- this was one of the best resort experiences i have ever had. while the resort is around 70 miles outside of Washington DC...it allows you to truly get away from everything and enjoy mother nature at its best. located along the choptank river, the resort features fabulous restaurants...including blue point which boast fresh crab caught just down the river.... more

Beware of balcony rooms at front of hotel. Pigeons roost on the balcony partitions and by the time we left, there were piles of pigeon droppings on our balcony....ugh. Very unsightly and unhealthy. When we complained, we were told that the rooms facing the rear (water side) of hotel were $50 more per night. Quite franklin, they didn't care. more
