My fiance and I spent two different trips here with Lynette and loved her, her B&B, and whole experience. She is a delight and great cook - adding English charm to the setting. Wonderful wonderful time. Comfy, safe, a real romantic delight! Jilly

Lynnette Chase, the owner of this B&B, is generous and charming. She keeps all the rooms clean and comfortable. The beds were wonderful and we slept well. The inn is within view of the water and walking distance to town and restaurants but don't bother with lunch. Lynnette serves a 3 course breakfast, including homemade preserves and dessert, so we... My wife and I stayed two nights for a relaxing, low-key, birthday getaway. Lynette was a fantastic hostess and really made us feel like family while staying in her home. She had some great stories to tell and was genuinely interested in ours, making for great conversation. The house was beautiful and we enjoyed hearing about some of its ~120... More

This B&B was such a unique home extremely cleans and well appointed . We had the entire third floor complete with a study and turret. The bathroom was gorgeous and clean. We had to get up at 6am and our sweet hostess had hot pressed coffee ready for us Next time hopefully we can stay And enjoy her cooking.

In early September I had tea at this lovely Victorian home. The tea was excellent, enough food to consider it lunch and dinner, wonderful desserts and perfect company. Our hostess Lynette Chase was amazing as she prepares and serves all of the food herself while making each guest feel special. An added treat was a tour of her inn and... More

My wife and I stayed at the Victoria Gardens Inn over Labor Day weekend. We could not have been happier with our stay. Lynette is a gracious hostess and was attentive to our every need. She prepared incredible made-from-scratch breakfast dishes and we ate at a table on the veranda overlooking the garden. I could not imagine a better way... More

The room and bathrooms were dirty. Hair in the sink and in the tub. The floors in the bedrooms had no been swept. Cobwebs and spider webs in the bedroom. My wife had a spider crawl on her while she was lying in bed. Yuck! Don't stay here unless dirt, hair and bugs don't bother you.

I grew up in Cambridge,MD and lived on the same block of Oakley St. (the street of Victoria Gardens) for my first 7 years there. I always wanted to go into this home as it was gorgeous from the outside but I never had the opportunity. I attended a wedding in Cambridge this past weekend and researched all of the... More

My wife and I found this lovely home on the web - but had no reason to think it would be perfect. Well, maybe we did. Lynette had answered our email from home, kept up a dialogue with us, and had promised in advance to try and meet some fairly rigorous requirements we had. She met every one - and... More

Look no further and stop the presses! Victoria Gardens Inn is the BEST place to stay bar-none. Even if you are playing tourist in the larger general area and traveling into D.C., stay here!
