The staff makes all the difference at this hotel, I have stayed at other hotels and this one definitely seems concerned that your stay is good. The free breakfast was excellent and I loved the breakfast attendant! The room was fresh and clean, everything was brand new. It was just recently renovated so everything is very nice! The town is... more

Though this hotel had previous bad reviews, under another name, I decided to give it a shot since it had been renovated. Booked a 2 room suite, which was very spacious- 2 queen beds and tv in one room, and a sofabed and 2nd tv in another. The room was clean for the most part, though housekeeping could be a... more

The La Quinta Lexington Park is the the process of some amazing renovations. The entire hotel has been changed from outside walls to new bathrooms with granite counters and lush bedding. They still have some finishing to do but once complete this hotel will be a clean, comfortable oasis. The rooms are nice size, and the suites with bonus rooms... more

I travel to the area a lot for business and consequently have stayed in many of the hotels. I have stayed at this property 5 times recently so I will try to adress all of these stays with this review. This hotel used to be a run-down Best Western and my coworkers have said it was bad. However, they changed... more

As a frequent business traveler, but one who is relatively new to travel near the PAX area, I found the Patuxent Inn to be a good value, especially for those seeking to stay within government per diem. Needed renovations are still underway for the hotel's general appearance, and the amenities, aside from the expanded satellite TV channels, are quite basic,... more

I booked this room over the phone, when I tried calling back to get directions to the hotel, they never answered. I found out later it was because the phone was disconnected. The mananger showed me a room that still had drywall on the wall and some of the carpet was pulled up. It was late and so I took... more

Used to be a Best Western and was ok, now substandard. Room was dirty, hallways were dark, ceiling tiles failing off with wires hanging down, mold on bathroom ceiling, lightbulbs missing, holes in walls, broken fixtures, and the final blow---hair on vanity, floor and in beds. UGH!!!! We did not stay. more

We had a problem with our first room. The door wouldn't lock. The front desk staff was very friendly! He gave us a new room. After settling in, I went to the bathroom and there was mold on the ceiling! I made sure to keep the bathroom door shut, but in the morning I felt sick and was congested. I... more

I was in town for a family reunion and booked the rooms when it was a Best Western. We were unaware of the change until we arrived. It was the worse night of my life. We request 3 non-smoking rooms. The first set of rooms had various problems. One had an inoperable air conditioner, the other smelled of smoke and... more
