I came to stay at the Inn for my honeymoon. Upon my arrival I was greeted by the Innkeeper who was not only nice but very accommodating. I was shown to my room and upon entering my room there were petals on the bed, candles and fresh flowers. It was very romantic. The next mornings breakfast was suberb. The first... More

Very clean, never met the owner, furnishings need much upkeep; seems like the Inn was great years ago, but now in disrepair--also, although many cars were in the parking lot each evening, we never saw anyone at breakfast or heard anyone.

From the pictures on-line we were really looking forward to stopping for a few days after a family get together outside of DC. Those pictures are from a happier time. Once there we saw the sign out front and found out later the property has been for sale for a couple of years. It has gone from shabby chic to... More

We stayed here for one night so we could eat at Volt and not worry about having to get back to DC. The Inn is in real need of a serious renovation. While the owners were excellent hosts, the accomodations were overall subpar. I get the charm of old and antique, but this was beyond charming - unfortunate, the location... More

This was by far the WORST bed and breakfast experience I have ever had. Upon arrival, we were astonished at the poor condition of the exterior of the house. And it just went downhill from there...there were dead stink bugs all piled up on the floor and in the bathroom, as well as just overall UNCLEAN conditions. We asked that... More

This is an example of an old place which is completely past its prime. The most disturbing part of our visit was the complete absence of the owner. She was not there when we got there. The house was completely open. A woman who said she did the laundry arrived later and said she didn't know "what was going on."... More

We spent a wonderful & romantic evening here, away from the everyday hassles & the city. The gardens were absolutely beautiful. A friend held a tea here, and so we decided to stay for the night, as a treat. The tea included a number of different tea blends, and cute sandwiches. I had never had scones before... they were fun.... More

We stayed for one night as part of a bike tour from Pittsburg to DC on C&O canal. We were welcomed with fresh lemonade on arrival which hit the spot after all day pedaling. Before dinner we had great appetizers outside on charming deck. Dinner was equally good. Owner and staff were uniformly friendly and provided attentive service. Nice B&B... More

I recently held a small wedding ceremony and dinner at the Inn at Buckeystown. The owner was wonderful to work with from my first call. She was careful to plan each detail of the evening for our small party and provided additional information for vendors and officiants that I requested. The staff set up a beautiful ceremony site in their... More

We recently enjoyed a most wonderful weekend at The Inn at Buckeystown. 6 of us came in on Thursday for a wedding that was taking place on Saturday. We have a perfect tea that was not only delicious, but so creative and lovely, we had to take photos of the food and table scape before we could eat. Each of... More
