Don't judge a book by it's cover! Novelist Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb restored this lovely building in Boonsboro, MD near Antietam Battlefield. The exterior retains much of the historical character and charm. The rooms are stunning. Each room has a "theme" based on a novel (i.e., The Thin Man has a 1930's design). However everything is sparkling and new. The staff... More

Overrated/disappointment. My wife and I recently booked a night to stay in the penthouse at the Inn. I was expecting a location similar to Annapolis, Cape May or a New Hope. What we got was a rundown town and old worn location. No iconic square, shops or restaurants. I cannot comment on the interior of the inn, I did not... More

We are always wiling and ready to help guests plan a trip to busy, historic Boonsboro and we are sorry our pre-trip research didn't answer all your questions. Unfortunatley, our cancellation policy is clearly stated and we cannot make exceptions. More

My wife being an avid reader of J. D. Robb who is Nora Roberts, has had this trip on our bucket list for some time now. Nora Roberts owns the inn. Everything is just as described in her trilogy about the inn. Everything is clean and very well kept. The inn keepers are very kind and helpful. The cost is... More

This is my second visit to Inn Boonsboro. First, the staff is amazing and attentive. Karen and Penny have made us feel at home. The rooms are so beautiful, one nicer than the other. We love the library and the lounge. Breakfast is amazing. Wine and cheese is the icing on the cake. Planning on making this a yearly trip.

I am a huge Nora Roberts fan et have read all her books so just had to stay at her Inn. My husband reads her JD Robb series so we booked the Eve et Roarke room. Loved the heated floor in B.R. et the heated towel rack was awesome. Shower was large et offered several spray options. The towels are... More

Truly a 5 star in my book. We came upon it after I read Nora Robert's trilogy about the Inn. I wasn't sure if it was real or fiction, so I did my research. It is unbelievably beautiful. We stayed in the Elizabeth and Darcy room which I fell in love with in the novel. I can't say enough good... More

This was my 2nd trip to Inn Boonsboro and has a great time. This time stayed in Elizabeth and Darcy and the trip was a night away with my mom. We had a relaxing visit. You will never find a bathroom like this in a hotel. Loved the room and the porch! We'd like to make this an annual trip!

What more to say than PERFECT! The little historic town sets the pace and you feel like you've stepped back into a more gentile and kind time. The Inn has a library and other semi-public areas that welcome, entertain, and quench your appetite for company, food and drink. Coffee and tea anytime, treats, and a wonderful breakfast and across the... More

This is a gorgeous property located very close to Antietam. It's well situated in the town of Boonsboro for walking to shops and restaurants. Each room is named for a famous romantic couple from a book. They're all very different. I love when a B&B makes every room special. Hospitality-wise it's very well run. There's a wine and cheese gathering... More
