Requested upper floor and ended up on 3. Room air conditioner not working. Called desk before leaving for dinner. Came back and they were in the room but it was not fixed. TV is fuzzy on most stations. If you're on a budget in Bethesda/DC, it's average. For anything else, forget about it.

Nice place, good location, clean, but just so-so for a Marriott. Staff as always was excellent. That seems consistent at Marriott properties. Stay here very often to visit family. Most recent stay here was during Thanksgiving/Black Friday weekend. The parking is a ripoff, and I don't see a need for a parking fee as this hotel is several miles from a Metro Station and therefore commuter parking would be near impossible. Ideally located and provided everything one needs for a break. Free shuttle service is available to downtown Bethesda, where you can get the metro to Washington DC so you don't really need car, and they have a great pool and gym too. Food was good too. Can't fault it.

Being first time visitors to DC we couldn't have picked a better hotel. The Metro station is incredibly convenient to the hotel. The hotel is easy to find. We had a nice quiet stay in a beautiful hotel. Nearby there are plenty of places to eat or get those forgotten items.

This hotel was more than what we expected it to be. The in room amenities were great and the hotel restaurant was fantastic. Would definitely book here again. Super helpful and happy staff. Hotel shuttle was prompt and always ready to go.
