The location can't be beat - adjacent to the Bethesda Metro station. The room, bathroom, bed, and linens were superb "Hyatt quality". Very quiet room. Breakfast facilities were rudimentary, WAY over priced, low quality, and inadequate for the number of registered guests. The single server had a great attitude, but was thoroughly frazzled by what she was up against. Internet... More

Great location, nice sized rooms - nice bedding. The rest is old red indoor carpeting with burn marks, a seriously peeling tv cabinet in the middle of the floor with wires hanging out and a tv that is probably 10 years old. It is the kind of place where wear your shoes from the bed to the toilet and back.... More

We were in Bethesda for a wedding and happy to have stayed here. The hotel is excellent, well-located, and we could not ask more of the accommodations. The food options were also great with the Daily Grill downstairs for lunch and Mortons as a viable dinner option. Self-park is also easy to arrange and directly on-premises. Paid $14.99 for wireless... More

Spent 2 days there on business 11/19-11/21. The lobby is nice, but the guest hallways and rooms are dated and tired. The doors still have the old style 'chain safety latch' on them. Not a huge deal, but shows it's age. The wallpaper was beginning to peel a bit in some areas, the bathroom (although it was visually pleasing) lacked... More

My family and I (my parents, my sister her husband and two kids age 4,7, myself husband and my kids age 2, 6) came to MD for a family wedding and decided to make a weekend out of it. We stayed here and were very pleased! Check in was not only a breeze but the gentlemen who helped me was... More

Not a whole lot to love about this place. Very generic and a bit antiquated rooms, good workout facility / small pool, but most notable for location - close to NIH, above metro, near nice Bethesada restaurants.

I've been staying at the Bethesda Hyatt on my DC trips for years. I choose this hotel for its above-Metro location, compact feeling, and friendly atmosphere. I occasionally eat at The Daily Grill which is connected physically to the hotel although the Hyatt has no legal relationship with the Grill. In the past I've been satisfied with the Grill's food... The hotel's location makes it quite easy to visit Washington without renting a car. I took the metro to and from DCA and anytime I wanted to go downtown. The room was a bit tired and dated but the bed was comfortable. The atrium, while spectacular, allows sound to travel up to the rooms making it difficult to sleep when... More

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda (October 12 – 15, 2011) for business reasons with colleagues. First off, I cannot say enough about the pleasant staff. Prior to my arrival I had to visit the hotel on several occasions for meetings and without knowing who I was, staff have always been pleasant and welcoming. On-site, once again Hyatt staff... More

Stayed here for a wedding and found it to be reasonably located (on the red line so easy to get into DC). The rooms are mediocre and drab and generally dated (I felt as though I was staying in a late 1980's ideal of a chic hotel) but the beds are very comfy. The hotel has a great restaurant--The Daily...
