We had our wedding guests stay here and I stayed here the night before the wedding. It was a very nice Doubletree (some are definitely not as good as others). Service was good, rooms were nice, the balcony rooms were very nice in fact. I'd recommend it and would stay there again, if I didn't live nearby.

You can ask for warm cookies at any time. Relatively easy walk (about 8 blocks) or you can take shuttle or free community bus that picks up across the street. to Metro stop to get into DC ( about 45 minutes into downtown) Room was nicely laid out & bathroom spacious. Staff very friendly. No breakfast included.
