Lean, well appointed rooms. We had two very comfortable queen beds and a Kitchenette for simple meal preparation. Comfy beds, nice shower, ironing board and hair dryer meet all needs. Free wifi, shuttles around the base and plenty of local eateries give many choices m

This was our 2nd time in a Navy Lodge, so I can only compare it to the other one. We were not as impressed with this Lodge: the AC in the first room we had did not work & we had to change rooms, and the bed had a mattress that rolled each us to the middle. Also, either the... More

Wife and I were at Walter Reed Naval for a week of medical continuing education, and the Navy Lodge was perfect for us. Lacking: a business/computer center, worthwhile fitness room, a better breakfast, analog TV. Positives: clean rooms with coffee maker, fridge, small equipped kitchenette, helpful staff. Oh, and did I mention rates? $81/night, which in the DC area is... More

Much nicer than was expected. Breakfast is sparse but there is constant, strong coffee. Laundry facilities are affordable and convenient. Not impressed with the exercise equipment at the hotel, no free weights, machines or mats, just cardio equipment packed together. Great for an extended stay.

Room was great. They were clean and the staff was wonderful. breakfast was good even had waffles. The parking lot is small, but its on base so nothing they can change. Had one issue with a drain, and it was fixed prior to my return.

My wife and I stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner worked fine. The kitchenette included a full-size refrigerator, 2 burner ceramic stovetop, microwave, sink, and dishes/silverware. The Navy Lodge is convenient to the D.C. Metro Red Line Medical Center station. We used the Metro to get around. If you're coming by... More

Very nice lodge. While it is not much different from other Navy Lodges, I have to compliment the professionalism and amiability of their staff. Location is pretty great, and there is a Metro station just outside the main gate to take you anywhere within the DC area.

This lodge is in the middle of complete renovation. I got one of the renovated rooms and it was great. The room is nicely appointed with a bed, chair that has a footrest, desk, fridge, microwave and some dishes for use. There is a good sundry shop in the lobby. The fitness room is tiny though and I would recommend... More

I'm retired from the Army( 21 years) (E-7), wanted to visit my home town without putting any of my friends or relatives out and besides my wife and I like some privacy from time to time. The price at the lodge is the right price($81.00). The room is very large and is nicely appointed with a, microwave, refrigerator, desk, eating table etc..The... More

Hand'nt been here in about five years and was glad that could get a room here for two reasons - a. pleasant place to stay, very reasonable rates, safe, friendly staff, about 12 minute walk to the Metro, and b. there was space available this time when requested a reservation. That was a good sign as priority is appropriately allocated... More
