This Inn has several buildings. We stayed in the "Cliffs" rm 305 second floor and rear of home but has a balcony with partial view along with a separate small room with twin bed for that extra person. Continental breakfast is great as well as the gardens, view and common areas. We had dinner in the pub. Although the food... More

We have just returned from our annual visit to the York Harbor Inn and, yet again, it has not failed to impress. The staff are welcoming and the rooms luxurious. If you are lucky to be able to take advantage of their midweek offers the value for money is even better!

We had a wondeful time! The room was beautiful, there was a great guitar player in the dining room, and the food was excellent. We stayed in room 502 with a nice little fireplace. My husband had lobster yorkshire which he said was delicious. I had flatbread and it was yummy. I also had pesto chicken and that was pretty... More

We stayed here in July 2011 and it was lovely. The weather was great and we got to explore the area. We stayed in the Harbor Cliffs part of the property. There are numerous buildings and choices. We reserved this sight unseen, but we did OK. However, our room was on the 3rd floor - 3 flights of stairs but... More

What an amazing set of properties in a most beautiful setting and full of history and beauty! It's what you dream of when thinking about a visit to the coast of Maine! Across the street from the York harbor with a beautiful trail down to the rugged beach. The room was beautiful and rustic feeling but with the right updated... More

We always stay here when we are in Maine. There are six different buildings with rooms, each different from the others, but always lovely. We usually stay in the Harbor Crest Inn, which is newer with luxury rooms- gas fireplaces, jacuzzis, large comfy beds- lovely linens and great Turkish towels. This last visit they were full, so we stayed in... More

This is our 6th or 7th stay at the YHI. We've always stayed at Harbor Crest as we travel with our dog. The facility is beautiful, well appoined, and spotless. You'd never know that pets were allowed in this building unless you see one; no odor or other tell tale signs! All the staff are pleasent and helpful, especially the... More

What a great stay we just had last week for three nights. We had a room in the Harbor Hill building, just steps from the main hotel. Our room (and bathroom) on the second floor was spacious, well-appointed, and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We also had a gas stove, which we used on chilly nights so we... More

We didn't stay at the Inn, but went to their restaurant/bar twice while we were ther. Fabulous food, great drinks, great, friendly staff! Beautiful view of the ocean in the dining room. Decorated beautifully, old, and charming!

My husband and I just returned from our third getaway stay at the YHI. Our experiences have been wonderful. We always book the least expensive rooms in the main inn. The inn's atmosphere is charming and gracious but never stuffy, always friendly and accommodating. Nice quality linens and clean as a whistle. The dining room has a great ocean view... More
