We stayed here for two nights in our 28' travel trailer, had everything we needed plus very close to beautiful downtown and beach. The roads at the camp are dirt and gravel. Our site had freshwood chips as the base surrounding the picnic table. Lots of trees for shade as well, never used the awning. This is a great little... More

Fantastic location! 5-7 minute walk from the RV park to York beach and all it has to offer. We visited early this season, they actually were not even open yet but the owners are extremely accommodating and made us feel very welcome. Very reasonable rates

we rocked up late one day after the campground at long sands wanted $100 for a camper site, we refused and ended up here. Sure the owner is old fashioned, he explained that because of insurance campfires must be out at 11.00, and the place is a bit unruly but we had a great stay the showers were good .$39/night... 1st: You have to pay 100% in advance to reserve a place by cheque...hello 2014?? Secondly: You don't like the place & you want to leave before the end of your stay? Say hello to your cash deposit... Thirdly: You want to cancel, 1 day, 1 week or even 1 month before? They will keep all the money & don't... More

We found this place 2 years ago by the recommendation of another campground (this should tell you how nice it is). My wife and I we're bouncing around Maine with no reservations and arrived in York Beach late one August day and started to call campgrounds, about the third one in we thought there would no way we were ever... We have been coming to York -Wells for years and tried most all the campgrounds Many have gone all seasonal or are upper end Resort campgrounds but this is a True Campground. Clean Friendly and close to Short sands. This is a no frills CAMPGROUND not a RESORT. They offer free hot showers in a clean restroom and often I... More

We have camped here for several years now and always enjoy it. The campground is very convenient to Short Sands Beach and York Village. We use a pop up but always take a tent site with no hook ups. There are a variety of site sizes available, some are small other quite spacious and all well kept. The facilities are... More

Campground was clean, but the sites were tiny and on top of each other, also the owner shows up at your site at 11: P.M and pours a bucket of water on your fire. I have never seen anywhere else do that, I will not go back for that reason alone.

York Beach Camper Park is small and quiet. The sites are wooded and shady but on the small side. It is family run and a perfect place if you are looking for a no frills park. There is no pool or function room, and no planned activities but at just 3 tenths of a mile from Short Sands beach and... More

My girlfriend and I had never been to Maine before. After driving nearly six hours from Allentown, Pennsylvania we arrived just before sunset to begin our week long vacation. The first campground we had planned to stay at was closed and that's what ultimately led us to our discovery of the York Beach Camper Park. Upon entering the park we... More
