We stayed at this motel because we usually stay at Best westerns and have been satisfied but this place is disgusting. We stayed there because it was close to Kittery and not knowing the area we thought we could rely on Best Western. What a mistake. The smell of mold, and midlew is very strong. the room, while it was... more

It's an average 2-star room, and the Priceline rate made it affordable. You get a lot of freebies, including parking, wireless internet, and breakfast. Our real complaint was the heat - it was a bit cold outside in October, and the unit under the window provided the only temperature adjustments - meaning the bathroom and shower, which were against outside... more

We stayed here for one night enroute to Boothbay. The first room given on the first floor smelt. In fact the the whole floor smelt. I identified the smell as "old" cigarette smell. The floor may have been a smokers' floor previously. Anyway we were given another room on the second floor without any problems. Reception was fine about that.... more

There is nothing to rave over or grumble about on this hotel. The location is convenient for visiting York. I agree with previous posts that it smells musty - my comment when we walked in was that the room smelled like dirt (not bad, but certainly not normal). The front desk staff were very pleasant and the beds were comfortable.... more

The title says it all: our room (101) had a very strong mold smell. Very very strong. more

I think this or any hotel in this area probably struggles with keeping things smelling and looking fresh. With their guests going to the beach, the humidity in the summer, well, what can you do? It's also a little beat up, but we could tell they make an effort - the room was clean. The bathroom had that "nothing-ever-dries" smell... more

I would not stay here again. The hotel was located perfectly for travel up and down the Southern Coast, but that was it. The halls are not air conditioned, the rooms need up dating and to be cleaned better. The housekeeping never gave us more than 2 face cloths and towels throughout our stay and we had to keep going... more

I stayed at this hotel with my mother in law, and my two children (ages 2 &9). I was surprised by how big the room was when we checked in. I was able to set up my son's porta crib without it taking up a lot of the space in the room. The room was very simploy decorated, but nice... more

I'll keep my review simple. We loved the hotel, the staff, the accommodations and would surely recommend to friends and family. more
