Just returned from a long weekend at Dockside Guest Quarters. As always, the place is beautiful, clean, comfortable, with a great staff. Lucky enough to enjoy the view of the harbor every morning before breakfast. Good for the soul ! That should keep me until my next visit. Thank you, Dockside !

Essentially set up as a B&B, directly on the water, providing the most relaxed environment possible. There are porches to sit on, grounds to walk and sit, along with the quaint look of old Maine. We stayed in the main house which we prefer. There are other buildings as well. A continental breakfast is included (eggs, sausage and an array... More

My girlfriends and I just spent a few days in Maine and had a wonderful time at the Dockside. We had adjoining rooms on the second floor of the Maine house and had a huge private deck overlooking the harbor. The beds were very comfortable;the rooms were very clean and bright. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts and had a delicious dinner... More

Our first visit to Maine brought us a beautiful view of the York River and Harbor leading to the ocean. The property was nice and had some definite pluses and some drawbacks. Extremely comfortable bed although the sheets were scratchy. Nice towels, room was clean, staff was friendly. Breakfast was above average but would have been nice if there were... More

We visited the inn for our anniversary and were greeted with a bottle of champagne! The service was formidable, the breakfast spread was delightful and the grounds were outstanding. Although there was a wedding that weeken which sort of got in the way of the tranquility (only for a few hours), the overall experience was fantastic. Plus, it is only... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Dockside! The rooms are very comfortable with amazing views from the private balconies. The entire property is beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, and well cared for by the very hospitable Lusty family. The breakfasts were delicious, very fresh and a variety of choices. An overall very "at home" atmosphere, location is secluded yet very... More

This is a lovely bed and breakfast with a fantastic view from every part of the property. The room we had was comfortable with a great balcony overlooking the harbor. The breakfast buffet is very nice and you are able, weather permitting, to take it outside to sit at the little tables on the porch. Very relaxing! We also ate... More

We were fortunate to book a last minute one night escape here last weekend. We typically vacation farther up the Maine coast, and were thrilled to find this heavenly place so close to Boston, just off the path of the overpopulated, more touristy areas. We could sit on the deck sipping prosecco and watch the boats and the tides flow... More

I was originally confused by the layout of the "hotel" my extended family had chosen to stay in, as seen in the website photos. But once I arrived and realized it was more of a bed and breakfast with an expanded campus, it made much more sense. As mentioned by many, the location is gorgeous. Our family members had rooms... We stay at the dockside every summer because it is so peaceful. The service and attention to guest needs is above standard. Wonderful grounds to walk and relax, kayaking and fishing only steps away. I always find it funny when people from the "city" complain about "noise" here, at night you can hear a pin drop. It may be because... More
