We have been traveling to York, Maine for almost 16 years and after finding the Morning Glory Inn, we will not stay anywhere else. In fact, we have been three times in six weeks and will keep going back as long as we are traveling to York. Margie and Doug are friendly, gracious, and generous hosts who bend over backwards... I am not really a bed and breakfast kind of person, but my experience a few weeks back completely changed my mind. My family went up for my grandmothers birthday, and we had an absolute blast. The Innkeepers could not have been more friendly, helpful, and pleasant to be around. Each room has a different theme, and its own unique... More

I am not a bed & breakfast person. I find the rooms are often too small, over decorated, lack privacy, and not worth the money. My wife found this B&B and I was thoroughly impressed. It is not any of the above. In fact, it is quite spacious, offers privacy both in the rooms and in the B&B, the food... More

Exceeds all expectations of a typical B and B because of the wonderful attention to detail. Lotions and potions in the bathroom were like a top flight resort. Had luxurious sheets and towels, peaceful quiet retreat in quaint New England setting, with accessibility to all the amenities and nature walks I craved for my weekend in southern Maine. Margie and... More

A lovely property with beautiful décor and an expansive garden. Charming hosts who provided expert advice re local walks, restaurants, and sightseeing. A delicious and tasty breakfast each morning of our two day stay, and interesting, charming fellow guests was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I terribly needed to leave our daily NYC stress for a quiet 4th of July weekend in Southern Maine and found this place last minute. In fact the innkeepers Bill and Bonnie told me they had been booked solid weeks ago but had a last minute availability for a special room. With few (and much more expensive)... More

We had a great 4 night stay here. The rooms are lovely and the set up is great, private patios. The gardens, though nearing the end of the season and loosing their spender are wonderful. Bonnie and BIll are gracious and helpful. We'll go back.

A well maintained property - inside and out. I particularly enjoyed that the Inn is within a short driving distance to York, but is just far enough out to be peaceful and quiet. The property is very quiet and serene. Our room had a private patio where we enjoyed breakfast in the morning and glasses of wine in the evening.... More

Tucked away from the bustle of the beach area. Refreshing and meticulously maintained property. The innkeepers, Bonnie and Bill, are most pleasant and helpful yet respectful of your privacy. They even have song birds on the radio in the morning as a soothing background while you enjoy your special breakfast.

Bonnie and Bill designed the Morning Glory themselves to be the ideal bed and breakfast for their guests and themselves. They added several rooms onto an 18th Century house. We stayed in the Heron Room, which was the quietest, most comfortable and luxurious room we've ever stayed in, with a lovely wooded back patio and skylights over the bed. The... More
