Margie and Doug have outdone themselves! We have stayed in many B&Bs and this is by far the nicest and most comfortable. Not only is the physical space lovely, our hosts made sure that our every need was met. Margie is an incredible cook and Doug kept the fires going. They were thoughtful and accommodating, asking about food allergies and... More

You know you're in the right place when you walk in and two other guests are settled in comfortable chairs in front of a nice fire. Our two days at Morning Glory Inn were perfect, and York offers a nice quiet base for a fall foliage trip (although if you're doing several days in Maine you might want to stay... More

We stayed at the Morning Glory Inn during a trip to the Cape and Maine. The open areas were huge, with a bar for use by those staying at the B&B. There is no way I can offer enough compliments on the breakfast - filling and very gourmet. The location in York was perfect for us as it was out... More

Having left behind our detailed instructions it proved difficult to find the Inn in the dark along unlit country roads. On arrival we were greeted by Doug who showed us round and made us feel immediately at home in this spacious b&b. Our attractively decorated Sandpiper room had a door out to a patio area, a large walk-in cupboard and... More

We've stayed in many B and B's and this has to rate at the top! It is immaculate, peaceful, and cozy. The rooms were perfectly appointed and the breakfast delicious, healthy, and beautifully presented. The innkeepers were gracious and helpful and obviously enjoy their jobs! We highly recommend this gem in York!

My sweetie and I wanted a quiet and romantic getaway. Everything (and I mean everything) about our stay was wonderful. The room was spacious and beautiful with skylights and windows that looked out on the forest. Breakfast was delicious with homemade granola and a wonderful hot meal. We even chose to eat on our private porch, and the host brought... More

The Inn keepers were the most delightful hosts, the breakfast was a scrumptious event, and the rooms were generous and well appointed. We will definitely return to enjoy the patio, gardens and peaceful atmosphere.

Doug and Margie are so welcoming! Margie's cooking is incredible!! The service was great, the rooms were impeccable and spacious, and the gardens and patio are beautiful! Such a great place to relax just far enough from the tourists but still close enough to the beach. Hope to come back soon!

The name of this inn speaks to a fine feature of this inn. Garden plantings of every kind beckon you to stroll among the grounds of this well-kept inn after breakfast. In fact, having that breakfast in the courtyard is simply is as nice as it gets. Attentive service and delightful, creative fare make that an experience one won't soon... More

Doug and Margie have certainly found their calling. Their Bed and Breakfast is inviting, linens are excellent quality, service is beyond exceptional! The gardens encircling the buildings are luscious and the private patios are tranquil. The homemade granola is amazing and breakfasts were delicious, made by Margie and served with flair by Doug... We stayed for 3 nights during our... More
