We have stayed here many times..when we first stayed, the owners still seemed interested in the property. The last time we stayed we noticed that a smake detector was still not reattached, blankets had holes in them, furniture covers were dirty and towels worn thin. It's probably time for the owners to sell before the property reaches a point of... More

We rented 6 rooms for couple of nights for a snowstorm, rooms where very dirty, cold, had to shovel entrance, paint peel, bugs, mold really not good. The heat did not work well, water was hot, towels where clean.

Just stayed for an overnight. Carpet is stained, chair was stained, sheets and towels are old and shabby. The window curtain in the bathroom was ripped, thin, and barley hanging on. The light above our rooms door was blown. The linoleum in the bathroom was all pulled away from the tub and the shower curtain was missing several hooks. Very... More

Owner very ignorant, we asked to see the room before we booked it and he was put out by the fact. The room was clean but the beds where hard as rocks so we told him and he turned his back on us and wouldn't talk to us anymore

Was recommended to this hotel by a motorist in a petrol filling station in Yarmouth as they knew the owners - no mention of the facilities. The units are split up over the site. On approaching my room it was noticeable that it needed a repaint. The room was adequate size with a Queen bed, an old fashion TV, a... More

This place is a total dump....stay away.....with outdated dirty rooms, old carpets that stink, chipping paint everywhere you look and the oldest TV I've seen in 20 years and way overpriced !!! I regret my last minute choice to stay here and not check Trip advisor first

We booked two rooms and got the last they had, on the parking lot. I wonder if they are in the process of remodeling, as our room was in poor condition--torn screens on windows, broken tile in shower, cobwebs on lamps, cracks in flooring. The other room had an updated bathroom. Both had entry doors badly in need of paint,... More

We stayed here for one night while on a road trip and were pleasantly surprised by it. While it is very rustic and a bit rough around the edges, we really enjoyed it and would stay here again. The motel is quite dated and the outside could use some TLC, but our room was very clean and comfortable. The area... More

Spent an overnight here while going to a wedding in Yarmouth. The couple that runs this motel are very nice and helpful. We booked a room with a queen bed for a much more reasonable price than other chain hotels in the area. The motel looks dated (think mid 80s), BUT it is CLEAN and has the essentials. There was... This is a small homey cottage-atmosphere motel, centrally located to many interesting sites in the area, including Portland, Freeport and Brunswick. While the restaurant is closed for now, there are a wide variety of restaurants for all tastes. Conveniently located off 295 on Route 1, one is only ten minutes from Freeport (L.L. Bean), to the north; 20 minutes from... More
