What a beautiful home and B&B Paul has. He was immediately welcoming and so laid back that you relax as soon as you walk in the door. We would have loved longer to enjoy the building itself but thoroughly enjoyed the one night we spent here. The building shoulders a main road but we didn't hear any road noise and... More

We had a wonderful two night stay in Mel and Paul's beautiful home. What a gorgeous place. The breakfasts, in particular Paul's eggs benedict, were superb. The decor throughout is so tasteful and yet comfortable, in particular the huge bed. Great hosts too, very helpful and welcoming.

This was our 2nd stay at the Snow Squall. It has only gotten better. Paul and Mel are wonderful hosts. I have been traveling for 5 days and the 3rd was a charm. First good night sleep I have had in a long time. Since we were there last they added a yoga studio and coffee or tea 24/7. Paul... More

The Snow Squall Inn is in a great location for visiting this part of the Maine Coast. Easy drives to the shipyard and the Coastal Gardens. Paul and Melanie were gracious hosts. All the rooms are named after famous clipper ships. We stayed in the Flying Eagle room on the second floor, up a narrow and rather steep flight of... More

We stayed at the Snow Squall Inn during our daughter's wedding weekend. We decided on this inn because of TripAdvisor comments, and the pictures on their website. Paul and Melanie are great hosts, with Paul telling great stories and giving terrific suggestions about what to do in the area. Our room was lovely, beautifully decorated, and delightfully warm on this... More

We were in town for a wedding and didn't want to take a boozy trip back to Portland afterwards. Snow Squall is how I assumed my first B&B experience would be! Cozy & comfortable, adorably decorated, and so hospitable. Paul did a wonderful job as Host and the breakfast the next morning was the perfect "pick me up" after a... More

We visited the Snow Squall Bed and Breakfast during our recent trip to Maine, the house was beautiful and our room was very lovely. Breakfast was very tasty and the owners were wonderful to talk with. We were very impressed with all the landscaping around the property and I took full advantage of the onsite yoga studio. If you are... More

My husband and I committed to a re-union in Maine but wanted a quiet off site location to unwind after full days of conversation and celebration. We found it at Snow Squall B&B located a short walk from the center of beautiful Wiscasset. With plenty of open space around the B&B, lovely grounds (with a gazebo), and welcoming "common" rooms... It was due to the location that we choose Wiscasset (half distance from Boston to Bar Harbor, our destination). But our actual experience was great ,and not just because of high standard accommodation but also because of Melenie's and Paul's warm friendly welcoming and hospitality. "The must" tips: Paul's ommletes; his travel tips and tasty fresh cookies. Very , very... More

Convenient location right off Rt.1 but sheltered from noise of traffic by beautiful gardens. Only saw other guests at breakfast, never heard them. Clean, comfortable and full of New England charm. Excellent suggestions for local activities from friendly staff. Even a well groomed cat came to visit.
