You can believe all the raves about this B & B. Everything about it is welcoming and generous, from the helpful and caring hosts to the spacious and attractively furnished bedrooms and common rooms to the ample and attractive breakfasts. Though it overlooks Route 1 in busy Wiscasset, it's well set back from the road and perfectly quiet. We booked... More

The Snow Squall Inn is a very special place owned and operated by two very special individuals Paul and Melanie Harris. Their hospitality is warm and welcoming that which also reflects the beautiful property filled with beautiful well tended flower beds. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The Inn is quintessential New England! Each morning you awake to the... More

Our second stay here, just as good as the first. Breakfast is divine, the room is comfortable, the hosts are wonderful. The location is outstanding, easy drive to Boothbay and all the coastal sites. We stay here as our base to the coastal areas. Much nicer then the waterfront hotels, much cheaper, and away from the crowds and chaos. You... More

This inn was a perfect stopping place between Portland and Bar Harbor. Clean, private rooms, nicely decorated and cozy. Our host was an excellent tour guide, well-versed in the "must-see" highlights of coastal Maine. The breakfasts were delicious. We stayed two nights, and would definitely stay again!

Paul and Melanie are interesting, wonderful hosts and very accommodating even with our last minute questions and requests. The Snow Squall Inn is a relaxing oasis with lovely furnishings and gorgeous gardens everywhere. We had a spacious room in the main house and a 2-bedroom suite in the carriage house, both of which were welcoming , spotless, and had really... More

I've always admired the Snow Squall Inn as we drive by so was glad for an excuse for a might's stay. Nothing disappointed and the pristine blue & white decor is perfect for the seaside village. The breakfast was delicious. Omelet with perfect terragon sauce. Really gracious hosts, Paul & Melanie are fun to chat with!

Everything is the same and that is great (see my review dated 11/1/13). This time we had the opportunity to spend two nights with Melanie and Paul. We were greeted and treated like we were long lost family members. The property itself (both inside and outside) is beautifully maintained. Breakfast was scrumptious as usual. This a B&B you will want... More

Last weekend on a spur of the moment, my best friend and I left her kids with her husband and decided to drive up to Wiscasset for an overnight so we could have a day and a half to tour the area. Made a last minute reservation with the Snow Squall and when we arrived at the tail end of... More
