I'm not sure what we miss most, Paul's "made from scratch" scones each morning, paired with omelets stuffed with seasonal goodies and homemade biscuits , or crisp bacon, potatoes and scrambled eggs topped with mushrooms & tarragon from the garden or lighter than air pancakes with fresh blueberries & raspberries or Melanie’s “calm” that set the tone for the day... If you are looking for gracious hospitality, beautiful gardens, lovely home, and fabulous breakfast, this is the place for you. We spent four nights at this lovely B&B. Paul and Melanie could not have been better hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed. One of the highlights of our visit was rocking on their beautiful porch, and chatting... More

Simply AMAZING! Wonderful greeting, fantastic room and a glorious yoga studio with wonderful classes. We had lovely weather but it wouldn't matter. We arrived at 4PM for an overnight and were greeted by Paul the innkeeper. He maintains the spectacular gardens himself and mentioned there was a yoga class starting at 4:30 in his wife's studio right behind the house.... More

This is not the Ritz Carlton but there did not seem to be anything lacking at this beautiful B and B. The host and hostess were charming and warm and welcoming. The downstairs beautifully appointed and inviting. The room was pretty, functional and a pleasure. Good hot water, tea and coffee 24/7. Great breakfast, tasty and well thought out. I... More

The Snow Squall is a delightful b&b and the perfect location for exploring this part of the Maine coast. Extremely well appointed, the quality of the lodging is only exceeded by the warmth of the welcome. On first sight you might think that the house is too close to Route 1 for a peaceful night's sleep, but actually this isn't... More

This bed-and-breakfast has the best location,is the best looking, and has the best breakfast ever. The owners are delightful, interesting and fun to visit with. The breakfast is as good as any I've ever had in any gourmet restaurant. The rooms are lovely and the beds are very comfortable. We stayed two nights but would have preferred to stay a... More

This was our second holiday weekend at the Snow Squall Bed & Breakfast. The innkeepers, Melanie and Paul, are an inviting couple; he is a professional chef, she is his completer - teaches Yoga and serves the breakfast. The home is beautifully decorated, spotless, and has beautiful flowers and herbs everywhere. He has a delightful sense of humor and always... More

This has been our B&B of choice for several years when visiting the Wiscasset area. We enjoy the innkeeper and the local walks and attractions. If you happen to like antique shops or galleries, the browsing on your walks will be great.

This was our first stop on a mid coast tour. The Innkeepers are wonderful and multi faceted. We were made to feel at home in this beautiful house with impeccable gardens. Our room was comfortable and even with the bathroom across the hall was convenient. We have since stayed at three other B&B's on this trip and find ourselves comparing... More

My friend and I had a wonderful stay here. The hosts were very friendly, accommodating with a good sense of humor. The breakfast was superb made by the host who is an excellent chef, he even took the time to sit down with us after everyone was served and talk to us all. I Highly recommend this place!
