We had a lovely time at Whale Beach B&B (3 couples + 4 kids). The place was cosy, the rooms comfortable and everyone enjoyed the comfort of their own ensuite. The kids shared a very spacious room and enjoyed spending time together. A great option to discover the many gorgeous beaches around, Whale Beach itself being the favourite! The Basin... More

After spending an extended time in the city, CBD, I found the need to escape to the northern beaches. Whale beach B&B's hosts were extremely welcoming upon arrival and supplied me with all the necessities needed. They then gave me more than enough detail about the suburbs all the way from Palm Beach to Manly and were able to answer... More

I have stayed at Whale Beach B&B for quite a few years now as part of a large group attending the Avalon Tattoo in June each year. We generally have anywhere from 9-14 persons staying for the two nights. The bedrooms are very generous in size which allows us to add camp beds for additional persons staying. A big bonus... More

We booked the whole B & B for a family of 1 x elderly couple, 1 x middle aged couple and 1 x young family with a 2 year old and a 5 month old. We were hoping to put the elderly couple in the "garden room" out the back but this ended up being totally inappropriate for the following... More

I really feel this review is quite unfair, misleading and inaccurate. It would be hard finding anywhere suitable for 4 generations including an elderly and frail couple in this area at such a reasonable rate. These guests arrived on a Sunday asking for an early check in which we did our best to accommodate having been full the night before with... We truly felt like locals in this relaxed beach house. It was the perfect place for our 3 families to meet up before Christmas. Our host Elaine was very friendly and gave us lots of local dining recommendations. She was also helpful recommending some activities and nice walks we could enjoy in the area. However, we felt like we had... More

Stayed here for a long weekend to explore the area. I don't want to be completely negative as the host seemed pleasant enough - she gave us a quick overview of the area, took the remainder of our payment and left us to it. The property itself is quite old (on a regular residential street, no views) and although the... More

We stayed here for 4 nights during our visit to Australia. The welcome was friendly and lots of helpful information was provided, both for Whale Beach and the surrounding area. We made use of the kitchenette and BBQ which were handy to have available to us, along with the fridge in our room. The room was comfortable and Wi-Fi is... More

We enjoyed our time at Whale beach B and B very much. Lovely owners and accommodation. The whole family enjoyed our walks to the beaches and around the headlands and it was nice to be able to BBQ at our own place. Our teen really enjoyed the TV in the room and definitely the free wi-fi! We would definitely stay... More

Loved this beautiful B&B tucked away in Sydney's Northern beaches! My husband and I had such a relaxing stay and we will be recommending to all our family and friends! The host family were extremely friendly and helpful in giving us hints about what to do in the area. Locals in nearby restaurants were fabulous too. Great place to stay... More

No one should contemplate doing business with these people as they are dishonest crooks. I booked a week at this place at an already outrageous $150 per night in order to attend a friend's 50th birthday. I paid 2 nights deposit Unfortunately I was struck down and hospitalized with a very serious illness - Dengue Fever. I was shocked to... More

This attack is totally unfair and incorrect. As you can see by our other reviews we are just a small business and are kind people who love sharing our part of the world with other travellers. Gordon has left a stream of abusive and intimidating messages by phone and email. Even the police have told him not to contact me... More
