For the second year in a row the wife and I made the drive from Florida to not only take advantage of Shane and his crews vast bear hunting skills and knowledge to enable both of us to harvest bears but to enjoy Rachel and the wonderful things that she makes and serves in her restaurant which feels more like... Just got back from a bear hunt at 15 mile stream. We went for a week and could not have been happier with the experience. First off, Shane is a great guy and his knowledge of the area is second to none. He has a real passion and respect for the bears and really tries his hardest for us. I... More

I took my 18 year old nephew for a coyote hunt. We had a great time. The food was good. We saw three coyotes in the one night we were there. The rooms were comfortable. The stand was actually warm. Shane and Rachel were a real pleasure to meet.

My husband found 15 Mile Stream Lodge while on a snowmobiling trip a few years ago. Since then this has been our "go to" place to stay in Maine no matter what time of year we go. He went on a successful bear hunt in 2013, we have vacationed there a few times in the summer and fall and most... More

We took our son to 15 Mile for his 16th birthday. Although he didn't get a trophy bear, we still had a wonderful time. A friend who traveled with us got a real nice bear. Shane and Rachel made us feel right at home, I gained 6 pounds from the good cooking, and I could totally get used to walking... More

This place was recommended by US Rafting when we booked our white water trip. We stayed in a cute little cabin with just what we needed for our stay in Maine. Breakfast was good and the owner made us feel welcome & was very accommodating. She made suggestions on the sites to see in the area when we weren’t rafting... More

outstanding experience @ 15 mile stream lodge, hunting guide service. Shane put me right on the bear with his dogs, bait and superior local knowledge. I would strongly encourage all hunters to come up here for a wonderful hunting experience.

My group had stayed here as it was the site for U.S. Rafting and we loved it. The owners treat you like family and we loved their big screen tv so we could watch the Sox games too. The food is home-cooked and it really was a great time. The rafting was awesome too! We will definitely be back!
