I have lived in Maine my whole life and have kayaked the Kennebec up until I was eighteen years old. On a trip back to Maine I went up to stay at the Forks with some friends. Paddles and Saddles and the Inn at which we stayed were AWESOME. The small more friendly services are by far the better way... more

We stayed here at the recommendation of a friend. We also used them for a raft trip on the Kennebec. The inn was great-- terrfic food, friendly hospitality, 2 nice dogs, and a beautiful view of the river. We paid and extra $10 a night for a room with a king size bed and a whirlpool tub, which was well... more
