Our room was very dated and they used paper plates and plastic cutlery for breakfast. There was No Restuarant in the hotel - so you had to eat out. There was a pub style Restuarant across the way - it was okay if you liked sport and loud noises. Nice little town / street

This was an overnight on my recent Fall Colours coach trip in New England and what a delight. All the rooms appear to have the view of the river and my roomie and I were lucky enough to have the most central and upper level room view. The view is of the River which is a nature reserve. I was... More

Last fall we stayed here in the penthouse suite and it was wonderful. This fall we had to come unexpectedly for a family funeral and spent 3 nights in a 3rd floor balcony room. There are no elevators. To get to the room we had to park and then walk down a steep hill. Then up 2 steep flights of... More

For an overnight to visit our niece, this hotel was fine. Although a little worn and dated, it was very clean and the check-in was efficient! The breakfast is a nice plus and we appreciated the pretty view. With a little TLC, this could easily be rated higher.

I would have given it a excellent rating but for the missing handicap bars in the restroom. But we could not ask for better service and the courtesy. Everyone was exceptional. We have stayed at this location 3 times this year and the same experience was had.

We stayed at the Ogonquit River Inn and Suites on our way home from Bar Harbor and this being the 3 of 3 hotels on this trip. The lobby was warm and inviting and the staff courteous and helpful upon checking in. The furnishings, while somewhat dated, were comfortable. The bed was worth sleeping on and the refrigerator was a... More

Ryan at the front desk was so helpful to me. He helped me plan my daytrip to selected sites around the coast. Dani very graciously helped me with my room. The view outside my window was mesmerizing -- it overlooks a serene wildlife preserve. I'd recommend thicker towels and I'd recommend more fruit at breakfast. The hotel is quite friendly... More

Rooms need serious updating. Old fashioned furniture, 10 year old big box tv, outside chairs rusty and missing straps. Place needs work. Staff is very nice though and the view of the river is nice. The location is not near the center of town though. There is a trolley, but we waited and waited and it never showed up. Breakfast... More

Last minute find when looking for a weekend away. Loved the entire stay, even if it was only one night. We had a room with a balcony entrance with a beautiful view of the river and the ocean in the distance. It was so peaceful there even though it was booked. Grounds and buildings are well maintained. We could not... More

My husband and I stayed for one night...internet pictures are very deceiving...hotel was stuck in the 70's. Staff was unfriendly and the breakfast that was offered in the morning was horrible! Wanted to go kayaking, but by the time the person in charge called us back it was too late in the day to go, very disappointed (they do not... More
