Keep looking; there are plenty of alternatives along Rt 1 that are much nicer, and convenient to everything. the prices were comparable of a Marriott, but the quality was comparable of Motel 6. The room wasn't clean, stocked (tissues, T.P. or towels) and was stuffy & windows didn't open to air it out. My friends stayed a few doors down... More

Hello!! Do you want to spend$150 to $200 a night when you are only in the room for about 10 hours tops?? No? well unless you have "money to burn", stay at the Majestic and spend $79.00, tax included per night. You will have all of the usual amenities like a micro, coffee pot, refrigerator and a nice TV. The... More

Hi Fishfolks, Thank you for your patronage. Glad to hear you had a wonderful stay. As you noted, we have very competitive rates with many amenities. All the rooms have coffee pots, refrigerators, and flat screen TVs. Many rooms have microwaves, and we have a community kitchen with a microwave and stove. Of course, there are BBQ grills as well.... As usual I will start with the good things.. Good location on the main road in Wells and very close to the beaches. Also it was relatively inexpensive and pet-friendly. Now for the rest..We came to the hotel with what we thought were realistic expectations for a beach town "motel" (ie not 5-star with just basic amenities)... Boy were WE... More

I stayed here on the Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend for $69+tax... I was in a one bedroom suite - pull out couch in living room/kitchenette, table with four chairs, two burner hot plate, small fridge, microwave, tv in bedroom and lv/kitchenette. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. It's on Route 1 but the hotel rooms... More

We found the place to be very clean and very well taken care of. The room was a bit dated but in great shape. It would be a great location for families in prime summer season. We will definitely book again in the future. The location was great with lots of restaurants and touristy things nearby.

For the price you can't beat this place to stay while in Wells, Maine. Perfect place to get to all the wonderful places to visit in Ogunquit, Wells and around those areas. The Regency was a little outdated but for the price you can't beat it. Great location and has a mini kitchen with cooktop, microwave, toaster, cooking items and... More

Stopped over night without reservations during the off season. Sign advertised queen room at $39. None available, but was given a king room at same price. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Free breakfast was included with three varieties of doughnuts, juice and other beverage including coffee. Overall a nice place to stay.

I can't blame the hotel for being what it is. My beef is with Expedia.ca. When planning our trip to Ogunquit I decided to "roll the dice" as they say and let Expedia choose the hotel for us with their "Unpublished Hotel Rate" deal. I asked for a 2.5 star hotel and they gave us this place...which is NOT a... More

I cannot beleive all the negative complaints about this hotel. We went there off season, and paid $50/night. With breakfast included, BBQ available, shuffle board, basket ball, picnic tables... The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. Of course there are going to be some minor clitches (mirror was foggy, the Television set was tiny etc...), but what do... More

My Husband & travel frequently & to various countries. We love not always staying at Marriott 5 stars, but local charm to set a traveling experience, not the same everything experience, just in a different location. We were very hesitant about staying here, because seriously for this price I've only ever seen dives, but the pictures & other reviews persuaded... More
