Overall the place is basic and actually suited my needs fine. I stayed for several weeks while on a construction project near the beach. While the property owner thought he was being comical, he decided to publicly comment on my sleep apnea related noises...enough said..I was pretty embarrassed and found other lodging. If you are a perfect human in all... More

I will agree with other reviewers on both the pros & cons of the Majestic. The cons are that it is an old roadside motel that has seen a lot of use. The rooms are a bit shabby and the amenities are sparse as far as fancy soaps and lotions. However, the pros far out weigh the cons as long... More

We stay at the Majestic frequently. The grounds are extensive for the area and very well kept- pool, shuffleboard, basketball, grills and a fire pit, plenty of room to play catch. Kid friendly. If you are looking for a super-luxury resort, this is not it. It's a basic old fashioned motel, but always super clean, and the kind of place... More

The Majestic Regency has a fancy name but the accommodations are very basic. Our room was clean enough but was dated with an old CRT tv. The continental breakfast was unimpressive to say the least, consisting of various breads and spreads, with doughnuts and pastries (didn't look very fresh to me). The coffee was terrible too. We didn't get a... More

I stayed at this hotel when previous owners were there. The rooms are clean and affordable for a family. However I have never had management be so rude and disrespectful. We brought our dog with us but didn't know they couldn't stay in the room while we were out for the day even if crated. The staff forgot to have... More

We were so pleased with our stay at this family-run motel. Although the plastic chairs and cigarette buckets outside the rooms were a bit shabby, the rooms are clean, and the linens fresh. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and the property has a heated pool and large, grassy area equipped with gas grills and picnic tables so you... More

Hotel was old and the room could have been cleaner. breakfast was held in an old dirty building and not presented very well. Gentlemen on desk made you feel you were bothering him not friendly at all.

This isn't the Ritz-Carlton, but I'd stay again happily. The sheets smell GREAT, the rooms are spotless. And we came in late, and they left our key, held our reservation, and literally left a light on! We were tired, and then thrilled. I can't recall any business being that considerate in a long time.

We stayed only one night, and it was fine for that. The hotel does show its age, the staff seems to keep everything well maintained and it was very clean. The bed was OK, but not great. Also, it had an older CRT TV and not a flat screen. They had a large breakfast area and it was well stocked... More

Before we traveled with our dog, we would have never given this place a second look. First let me say we have spent time in some of the best hotels in the US, and this clearly is not one of them. Its old, no flat screens, no fancy shampoo, and not at all soundproof. BUT if you relax your expectations....It... More
